Hotel and room was comfortable no complaints but what made the stay special was the hospitality and kindness of the staff. I have also given a handwritten appreciation note to the Hotel Manager Mr Avinash mentioning some names from the staff as well who had been exceptional in carrying out their duties with excellent hospitality and professionalism.

I checked late in the night around 11 pm and the front desk manager upgraded me to suite room without asking, it was such a nice gesture, I must appreciate. Moreover the breakfast spread was not only amazing, the courteous staff looked after me very well.

We stayed at Mercure Chandigarh Tribune Chowk to celebrate our son's 2nd birthday and, overall, had a pleasant experience. Before our arrival, I emailed the hotel requesting an early check-in, a room upgrade (subject to availability as an ALL Accor Gold member), and a simple birthday arrangement. Unfortunately, I did not receive a response before our arrival and had to send a follow-up email while waiting at the hotel. A quicker acknowledgment would have made the arrival experience much smoother. Although the requested room upgrade and early check-in could not be accommodated due to availability, I appreciate that the team explained the situation. The complimentary birthday cake arranged for our son was a thoughtful gesture and made the celebration special for our family. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff we interacted with during our stay were courteous and helpful. The hotel's location is also convenient for both business and leisure travelers. My main suggestion is to improve pre-arrival communication. Even if requests cannot be fulfilled, a timely response helps guests set the right expectations. With this small improvement, the overall guest experience would be even better. Thank you to the entire team for making our family celebration memorable.
