Hotel stay was quite ok but the concierge kindly arranged a complimentary transfer to the local waterfront area and the driver confirmed he would return to pick us up during the next scheduled drop off at the same place an hour later. Driver didn’t arrived, left us stranded so we had to pay for a return trip to the hotel!! When we arrived at the hotel and told the staff they offered to arrange another transfer to the cruise terminal, then once the driver arrived asked us how we would like to pay?? We understood the offer was a free transfer to make up for leaving us stranded however even after we questioned it and suggested that would be a fair outcome the staff insisted we pay and basically couldn’t give a stuff about us so we then had to arrange an uber which just wasted more of our precious time. Mistakes happen and this bad experience could have easily been resolved and rectified by providing the second transfer for free as offered, however based on our treatment we will never stay at the Pullman again and will be provide feedback to our travel company, my cruises so that other travellers are not treated so poorly.

We had an amazing experience during our stay. My husband initially booked two nights for us, and we enjoyed it so much that we returned for one more night before heading back home. Upon our return, the same receptionist, Achumile, who had assisted us during our first stay, welcomed us back with a warm smile and made us feel truly valued. Seeing her again reassured us that our final night in South Africa would be just as comfortable and memorable as the first.The team in the restaurant, especially Sisipho at breakfast and Anathi during dinner , as well as Benji at the bar, were fantastic during both of our stays. Everyone mentioned their friendliness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression on us. Every interaction was warm, professional, and made us feel genuinely cared for. We enjoyed our first stay so much that returning was an easy decision. The hospitality and warmth shown by everyone we encountered throughout both visits were exceptional and truly made our time in South Africa memorable.We are already planning to return to celebrate our anniversary.
