While it may seem like a small detail, I especially liked the built in luggage rack in the dressing room area--it supported my heavy bag very well.

Our tour group was placed at the Cape Grace for 3 very short nights and my only complaint is we didn’t stay longer. Wonderful location, close to attractions and lots to do. Wonderful, helpful staff.

attention to detail was amazing and appreciated the special attention paid and effort made to celebrate our engagement .
One area to consider: when ringing the doorbell, wait a bit before ringing it again. There was maybe a 10sec wait before it was ring again. This is not enough to respond.
After ringing the bell the second time the staff enter the room - they do not announce themselves and maybe allowed 15sec from initially ringing the bell until entering the room. This happened twice.
Considering the size of the room, and reason for the celebratory stay - it left a slightly awkward situation on both occasions.

Staff brilliant. Rooms very comfortable but bland. It’s a shame the refurb did not include the bathrooms. Breakfast nothing like as good as it used to be before it became a Fairmont.

From the time I arrived to the time that I left the Cape Grace every single member of staff was so incredibly, warm, friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well equipped with comfortable rooms with evrything you could possibly need and every meal I had was absolutely delicious.

From the minute we arrived we were made to feel very special. Nothing was too much trouble and we genuinely felt that all staff cared about our experience. Welcoming us home every time we came through the doors was a lovely touch! Our room had been upgraded to a one bedroom suite with amazing views of table mountain and marina. Thank you!!

our third visit but first since the Fairmont takeover, and it is noticeable ( not in a good way). Same lovely rooms and public spaces, but breakfast service terribly slow, left one morning after a 20 min wait for gluten toast that never arrived. Miss the fresh orange juice! Miss the chauffeur drives beyond 6 miles! (Last time you took us to constantia, this time you wanted 3 times the cost of an uber in an equally luxurious car!) We had a couple of nice meals and cocktails and overall enjoyed our stay but do think Cape Grace has lost a little bit of its soul
