Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and the hotel has many strong points, especially for families with children. The overall design and interior are beautiful, modern, and definitely at the level you would expect from a 5-star hotel. The kids’ playroom is excellent, and the swimming pools are also a big plus. The restaurant manager deserves special praise – he was extremely professional, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the same level of service was not always reflected by the rest of the staff, as some employees seemed less motivated and proactive. One situation in the restaurant particularly stood out. Someone's child vomited in the dining area, and several staff members simply stood nearby waiting for the cleaning staff instead of immediately securing and cleaning the area. It took around 10 minutes before a “Caution – Wet Floor” sign was placed, and by that time several guests had already walked through the area and spread the mess further. For hygiene and safety reasons, we believe situations like this should be handled immediately by any available staff member, regardless of whose responsibility it normally is. Service in the restaurant could also be more consistent. During our second dinner, for example, we were not offered any drinks at all. The food was another area that did not fully meet our expectations. The desserts are beautifully presented and look very appealing, but unfortunately, around 80% of those we tried were not to our taste. Overall, we expected a higher standard of food from a 5-star hotel. There is also room for improvement when it comes to cleaning. We noticed cobwebs around some of the lamps and dirty windows in our room. These may seem like small details, but at a 5-star property, attention to detail is part of the experience. The hotel has a lot of potential and many things are already done very well – especially the design, pools, children’s facilities, and the overall family-friendly atmosphere. With more attention to cleanliness, food quality, and consistency in service, the experience could truly match the 5-star standard.

The fact that the polls open from 11 only, and then closed for 2 hours for non seen reasons, and the playhouse was super hot even though outside wasn’t so hot. The lack of things to do during evening time and that timetable for the kids club was published just before the weekend. Also loads of spider web around the outdoor facilities.

We really enjoyed the facilities, but the service from the staff was poor. Like 3 star hotel at best. The only place we got nice service was kids club and the dining room. We will not return and not recommend.

The location and scenery is beautiful. The rooms are nice. Waterslides in the Balaland are awesome for the kids. The daily dinner themes are interesting. The staff was polite. The animation team is not well organised. The animation schedule does usually not say where the activity will happen. Sometimes the location was stated, but the activity was elsewhere.
