I would appreciate it if the water in the room could be replenished daily free of charge.

The room should be more child-friendly for a family friendly hotel (e.g., toys, an activity table, or something similar). During the night, there was a flashing green light on the router, which was quite disturbing, especially for the kids.

Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and the hotel has many great features for families with young children. The pools, indoor playroom, playground, and overall facilities are excellent for a child aged 2.5 years. There is a lot to do for kids and the hotel is clearly designed with families in mind. However, two things significantly affected our experience. The first was an incident involving hotel staff in the bar area. There was some kind of argument/fight during which glasses were broken. My husband and son happened to be passing by at that moment and it was really not an appropriate or pleasant scene for a small child to witness in a family hotel environment. The second issue was the extremely poor sound insulation in the rooms. We stayed in a connecting room with a locked door between our room and the neighboring one, but we could hear absolutely everything from the other family — normal conversations, children playing, everyday noises. The neighboring guests were not unusually loud at all; the walls and doors simply provide almost no sound isolation. One evening there was a clown performance in the lobby at 8 PM, which unfortunately coincides with our child’s bedtime. Even though our room was located in the middle of the hallway on the second floor, the loud music and noise from the event could be heard very clearly inside the room. Our son could not fall asleep until the performance ended. Additionally, sounds from the hallway and nearby housekeeping activities during the day were also very noticeable inside the room. This is not the fault of the staff, but rather an issue with the hotel’s acoustic insulation, which is especially important in a family-oriented hotel where children often nap during the day and go to sleep earlier in the evening. The hotel has excellent family facilities and a lot of potential, but improving the sound insulation would make a huge difference to the overall guest experience.

Great pools and kids area, very nice rooms, great location near the lake

We chose this hotel based on its family and kids-oriented concept, which initially felt very promising. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations in several areas. Starting with the booking process, we noticed an unexplained price discrepancy between two identical rooms reserved just five minutes apart — €895 for our friends and €955 for ours. A difference of this nature, with no apparent justification, is difficult to overlook. The hotel’s lakeside setting is lovely in principle, though the beach itself is quite small and may feel limiting for families. The reception area is similarly compact, which led to noticeably long queues during both check-in and check-out — not the relaxed arrival experience one hopes for at the start of a holiday. On the dining front, the food selection was quite limited and, in our view, did not reflect the quality one would expect at this price point. As for the children’s entertainment — the heart of what a family-concept hotel should deliver — we found it to be significantly underdeveloped. There was a single children’s disco on Friday evening, but the rest of the week lacked any organised evening activities for kids. Saturday night, for example, featured only adult live music, which understandably didn’t hold the children’s interest. The family park was a pleasant touch, though it requires constant parental supervision, offering parents little opportunity to unwind. The fundamental promise of a kids-first hotel is that children are engaged and entertained, allowing parents to relax and recharge. Regrettably, this hotel did not quite deliver on that promise. For families seeking a genuinely well-rounded experience, we would highly recommend exploring Valamar Hotels in Croatia, which offer thoughtfully designed programmes for both children and adults. Given everything, we feel the pricing is difficult to justify relative to what is actually on offer. We hope the hotel takes this feedback constructively, as there is real potential here that is currently going unrealised.
