WE HAVE A QUITE GOOD STAY IN HOTEL BALALAND. BUT FOR THE 5 STAIRS HOTEL WE ARE EXPECTING MORE. PLAYGROUND FOR CHILDREN: TOP! HAPPY HOUR: TOP! POOLS AND SLIDE: SMALL SWIMING AREA AND TO MUCH PEOPLE IN TWO POOLS, THEY CLOSED SLIDE FROM 1-3 PM WHICH IS STUPID. FROM HOTEL TO POOLS YOU MUST GO OUT ON AIR AND THEN BACK INSIDE WHICH IS THE BEST TO GET SICK RESTAURANT: RESTAURANT IS THE WORST PART OF WHOLE HOTEL. BIFE FOR THE BREAKFAST AND DINNER IS HALF OF TIME EMPTY. NO ENOUGH FOOD, NO ENOUGH SPOONS, NO ENOUGH GLASSES. PEOPLE TAKE THE GLASSES BY YOURSELF IN FRONT OF THE BIFE WHEN ARE THE WAITERES WAITING I DONT KNOW WHAT. IT IS A BIG MESS ON THE BIFE SOMETIMES. HOTEL: QUITE GOOD EXCEPT WITH HEATING THE HAVE A LOT OF PROBLEMS. DURING THE DAY QUITE COLD, DURING THE NIGHT EXTRA HOT. VERY EXPENCIVE PRICES IN THE HOTELS BIFES AND RESTAURANT.

For this time, understaffed and overcrowded, the family park will be closed. Nothing to do, lobby is too full, not enough staff on the bar. Food choices are very minimal, and gluten-free options (dedicated) are horrible. Drinks prices are overpriced. Doesn't feel like a 5 star hotel to me.

Hotel is nice, clean and well located. We were very happy with food selection. At the same time, we selected hotel for the kids animation during halloween but it was disasterous, especially treasure hunt, when only few kids get a present. There was no empathy from hotel personnel. I would not expect such behavior in 5 star hotel.

One guest wrote it perfectly in a Tripadvisor review: "The only five stars here are the prices." That's right! Everything else simply doesn't qualify as five stars. The food is mediocre—according to our friends who have stayed at this hotel many times, its quality has changed dramatically in the last few months. And if you don't have half board and order dinner for an extra fee, service is added to your bill, and this is despite the buffet system! So, you get everything yourself, but you pay for service. The staff is completely indifferent to everything. The rooms are large and bright, but there are a lot of inconvenient details. For example, the bedside table is metal, shaped like a can with rounded edges, and very small. Try not to miss if you put a glass of water on it at night. The shower is inconvenient—it's a bathtub with a shower. The soap dispenser is on one side, the sink on the other—how on earth could they even do that?! And there are so many little things like this, it goes without saying, that they create inconveniences at every turn. The spa area is a whole other story. This is a children's hotel, and that's something to keep in mind. This hotel is absolutely not suitable for those looking for a relaxing holiday. It's extremely crowded, and all the pools are full. The water in the outdoor mini-pool is cold for this time of year. Another critical issue is the extremely slippery flooring in the spa area. Although we were in the spa area for a very short time, no more than an hour and a half—we only did it once during our entire stay—we witnessed people fall three times after slipping on the floor. We often visit various spa hotels, and we've never seen anything like this. It's just very, very slippery. On the positive side, I'd like to note the wonderful outdoor playground, the excellent private beach, and the magnificent views. Overall, the experience was very poor. I wouldn't go there again.
