Hi, I’m choosing to share this feedback with you directly rather than on Booking.com, as I don’t want to negatively affect your rating. To be honest, I traveled for two full weeks and stayed in several different accommodations, and my experience with you was the most disappointing—especially considering your 9.2 rating on Booking.com, which, in my opinion, did not reflect my stay. Unfortunately, I did not have a good sleep experience. The bed was not comfortable, and every movement made a lot of noise. The sound insulation is not very good, and I could hear everything—both from the corridor and from outside. As a result, I only managed to sleep for about one hour during the entire night. In addition, there was no mention of any ongoing renovations. Had I known about this in advance, I would have chosen a different place to stay. I understand that you are required to inform guests about this, and unfortunately this was not done. I would appreciate it if you could get back to me regarding this matter. On a positive note, the breakfast was good.

This was our third stay and Mercure Larnaca Beach is definitely one of our few most preferred Accor hotels. Its location right at the beach and excellent service always guarantee a great stay.

Common areas of the hotel are under construction so there is noise all the time. It will probably be beautiful when it's finally finished. Also the ventilation system is either only on heat or only on cool depending upon the season so if you're there and it gets warm during the spring you cannot get cool air because it's still on heat. I also could not open the windows to get air because the outside construction noise was so loud

Our hotel is not under general construction, and all common areas are fully operational. The only work taking place during your stay was limited to the pool area as part of scheduled seasonal upgrades which was clearly communicated on all booking platforms. We regret if this created a different impression. Regarding the noise mentioned, any disturbance experienced was primarily related to external works in the surrounding area, which are beyond our control. With respect to the air conditioning system, as is standard in many hotels, it operates seasonally in either heating or cooling mode. Our team is always available to assist guests with alternative solutions to ensure comfort whenever possible. There was some confusion about my reservation but it worked out fine. However there are works going on in the hotel and we where not advised. Hotel they State it on their website, but what of you have not booked through their site ?
