Good location and generally a pleasant stay. Standard rooms are very compact and we ended up having to upgrade to an exec room which was costly but how i would expect a standard room to be at the hotel. Few communication issues regarding late check out which could have been awarded, but otherwise service staff were fantastic and friendly. Food was not great for breakfast- stale and seemed old.

A great Hotel in the heart of the City. Many places to see are easily reachable by foot or by bus. The hotel is offereing a free shuttle to the V&A Waterfront, but for the ones who like to walk it is an easy 20 min walk. Even before our arrival Mrs. Kelly Stone was in touch with us to prepare our arrival. During the whole stay she provided daily special assistance for sighseeing trips and she paid very special attention to a private event that was "due " during the stay. Kelly is a "pearl" in guest support! The City itself is worth visiting and especially during the day very safe. 9 days was not enough to see all the places, so coming back is a must. A highlight is the Club Lounge with a great variety of snacks/food and beverages in the late afternoon. I have visited many such places, but the team there was outstanding. From the supervisors: Benjamin and Shamiela. From the Chefs: Mashudu, Lufti, Victor, Nqobile. And last not least the waiters: Ongeziwe, Lorna, Ncumisa, Siphokazi. Mrs. Moloto as General Manager was greeting us on arrival and was always around asking whether everything was allright. Overall a perfect and memorable stay. Thanks so much to all of you!

Room was fine but one thing that shocked me for a 5 star hotel was when I tried to book a restaurant by telephone. The phone said dial 0 and the local number but that wasn’t working. I then got told no calls are possible from the room and that I had to go to reception to make a call. That is bizarre!
