I visited your hotel with my family, including my 4-year-old son and my 8-month-old baby boy. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing and concerning.
During our visit to the indoor play area, I noticed a lack of proper safety precautions and adequate supervision for children. My young child ingested something while in the play area, which caused serious concern for our family.
I immediately contacted the hotel staff for assistance, but no one came forward to take proper responsibility or provide the support we expected in such a situation. What was even more disappointing was the complete lack of follow-up from the hotel staff to check on my child’s condition or ask about his recovery.
This is absolutely unacceptable, especially for a five-star hotel where guest safety, care, and service should be top priorities.
I am raising this complaint after my baby boy has recovered. However, the incident and the hotel’s irresponsible response have left us deeply disappointed. I have all the necessary evidence and proof related to this incident and can provide it as required.
I expect the hotel management to take this matter seriously, investigate the incident, review the safety standards of the indoor play area, and take appropriate action to ensure that no other family has to go through a similar experience.
This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a five-star hotel. I hope the management takes accountability and responds to this complaint appropriately.

The event spaces, room, interior, dining outlets, and other public areas are beautiful and well curated. The food is wonderful across all meals. Most staff are very helpful and welcoming. Lots of efforts and care put into hosting an event like DWP.
Unfortunately, we had a few incidents where the staff miscommunicated or didn’t communicate with each other on certain things and caused confusion. Some of our queries weren’t followed through.
While the most parts of the experience were smooth and rather memorable, efficient & comprehensive internal communication is sadly missed and clearly noticeable — especially when considering the caliber of the brand like Fairmont.
With understanding that your property is also fairly new, we hope the services and communication will be improved for future stays.

We had an absolutely amazing stay, and I couldn’t have asked for a more special anniversary experience! ❤️
As soon as we arrived, I mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary and requested them to make it a little special. To our surprise, the team went above and beyond our expectations. They generously upgraded our room to a beautiful plunge pool room, which normally costs almost double, completely free of charge! The room was beautifully decorated with rose petals, and they surprised us with a lovely souvenir and a delicious cake.
But the surprises didn’t end there! The next day, they invited us for a complimentary lunch at their most premium restaurant. Even after we politely declined several times, they insisted so warmly and lovingly that we finally agreed. They had made special arrangements for us once again, arranged another cake-cutting celebration, and treated us to a wonderful lunch featuring specially prepared dishes by their personal chef.
The level of hospitality, warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care shown by the entire team was truly heartwarming. They didn’t just make our anniversary special; they made it an unforgettable memory that we will cherish forever. ❤️

We were greated in a grand manner - but from there on - everything was a downhill.
Went to the Italian place for Lunch at 3:10 - they told us that the place accepts order till 3:15 as last order and it was just 5 minutes more to the deadline and hence kindly go to the other retaurant as we will close for the afternoon.
We choose Bahaar for our Lunch.
Lunch order was delayed as the order was not punched.
They took an hour over to serve us lunch
When Lunch was served at Bahaar - The food was uncooked and not prepped in the tandoor.
then comes the evening - We headed to Bahaar to join their Live Performace - for which we were asked to get up from the table and leave as all tables were booked for outside guest and that the preference is not for In house guests.
We called it a night. Switched the Air Con to 26 Degree as i suffer from Ashthama and my wife from Sinus.
To our shock the room temp dropped to 18C at 4:00 am - Multiple visits were done by the Tech team and the receptionists but all went in vain.
We had not slept since then.
The entire experiene has been horendous.
To win a customer back - a free lunch meal was offered which is felt was a big JOKE.
This place is great - new - Classsy - But does live up to it !! The management needs a change.

We have carefully noted each of the concerns you raised. Being redirected from the Italian restaurant despite arriving before the stated last-order time, the delay in punching and serving your lunch at Bahaar, followed by food that was not prepared to the expected standard, are clear service failures. We sincerely apologize for these lapses.
The experience you had in the evening was equally disappointing. Asking an in-house guest to vacate a table because it had been reserved for outside guests is certainly not the sense of priority and hospitality we want our resident guests to feel. We understand how upsetting this must have been after the difficulties you had already experienced during the day.
Most concerning is what happened during the night. You had specifically set the air conditioning to 26°C considering your asthma and your wife's sinus condition, yet the room temperature dropped significantly. Despite repeated visits by our technical and reception teams, the issue was not resolved, resulting in a completely sleepless night. We sincerely regret this, and we recognize that this was not merely an inconvenience but a serious failure in our responsibility towards your comfort and well-being.
We also acknowledge your disappointment with the complimentary lunch offered as a gesture of recovery. In the context of the overall experience, we understand why you felt that this did not adequately address the inconvenience and distress you had gone through. We should have handled the situation with much greater sensitivity and ownership.
Your comments about the property itself being new, classy, and having great potential are appreciated. However, we fully accept that a beautiful property alone cannot compensate for inconsistent service and operational shortcomings.
Please be assured that your feedback has been escalated to the team for a detailed review. The concerns relating to restaurant operations, guest prioritization, food quality, service delays, and the air-conditioning issue will be addressed with the respective teams.
We sincerely regret that we failed to deliver the experience you deserved. We hope you will give us an opportunity to personally address this with you and work towards restoring your confidence in us.

It was a wonderful experience,
The food was very delicious everyone from the serving team to cooking team were absolutely Mindful of our taste.
The rooms were beautiful, comfortable and lavish with beautiful mountain view.
The property was grand and so safe at the same time very kid friendly.

Our 2-night, 3-day stay at Fairmont Udaipur was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were taken care of extremely well. Even though there were three major events taking place at the property when we checked in, the staff never let the bustle affect our personal experience—they went above and beyond to make us feel special and truly cared for throughout.
Our dining experiences at Bahaar and Dastaan were top-notch. The food selection was expansive, fresh, and delicious, and the culinary team was more than happy to accommodate any custom requests we had. The team’s flexibility made a huge difference, right down to graciously approving our late check-out request without any drama or hassle.
