The property location and ambience were good, but the room description was misleading. I booked the Flamingo Signature Room expecting a garden sit-out area as mentioned in the description, but the room only had a balcony. Also felt ac was not that good, the experience didn’t fully match the expectations created while booking.

Pros : Finest check in process. Rooms allotted were elegant & beautifully set. Clean property with very courteous staff! Buggy service was prompt & quite accessible! Lovely architecture with state of the art environment! Cons : 1.We were appointed butler but she was not seen once assisting us during the stay! They call themselves the best butler’s hotel across the world! It’s a myth. 2.We came to celebrate my wife’s birthday & I had mentioned the occasion during the web booking in special instructions. They failed bigtime! No cake, no decor & no celebration! Our butler asked us a place to celebrate during check in whether we want to celebrate in our room or somewhere around the property & we confirmed our room option. She confirmed the evening slot for celebration & they literally did nothing for it after committing! 3.During check in we conveyed to our so called butler that we need extended check out as the our drop off point to the hotel journey was super hot (almost 20 mins) & we had an infant baby with us! So we wished to leave the place by early evening to avoid harsh temperatures, she said that she’s spoken & confirmed 3:00 PM checkout for us! But at 12 we received a call saying that we can’t extend check out & we have to vacant one room my 12:30! Imagine having such 30 mins limited time for check out with an infant! It’s bizzarre. 4.As soon as we entered the restaurant for dinner a person came insisting us to opt buffet instead of ala carte & he misled us saying there’s no ala carte option available tonight. He offered some discounts & convinced us for it. When we decided to opt buffet as per his suggestion he said he can’t apply any discount as we had a different hotel booking package. It’s not over yet for us as I asked him to arrange a butler so she can take care of our baby & we can have our dinner at least 5 times I asked for assistance but he didn’t do anything & literally roamed in front of us shamelessly! Very unpleasant experience I must say! 5. During the entire stay Electricity supply must have interrupted for 10 times or more. Tripping every hour I would say which was unacceptable. Very unpleasant service throughout the stay!

Our stay at Raffles Udaipur was truly a super experience from start to finish. The journey began beautifully with the boat transfer to the hotel, which itself felt luxurious and set the perfect tone for what was to come. The arrival and check-in process were smooth and warmly handled, making us feel welcomed right away. As a member, we were also delighted to receive a room upgrade, which made the experience even more special and comfortable. The evening Aarti was absolutely next level—serene, grand, and perfectly paired with tea, creating a truly memorable moment. Spending time at the Writer’s Bar was equally enjoyable, with a great ambiance. The breakfast spread was excellent with a wide variety of options, and the spa experience was relaxing and rejuvenating. Overall, everything—from service to atmosphere—was very nice and thoughtfully curated. It was a luxurious and memorable stay, and we look forward to visiting again.
