Some places leave a lasting impression… and some stay with you forever. Raffles Udaipur is one of those rare places. Hidden in its own peaceful world of beauty, it felt like discovering a secret lake palace—away from the noise, surrounded by tranquillity, and filled with timeless elegance. What truly made our stay memorable was the people and their warmth. From the moment we arrived to the moment we said goodbye, every detail showed genuine care and perfect hospitality. A sincere thank you to Mr Sukhpreet Singh Bath for taking such wonderful care of us. His warmth, kindness, and personal attention added a beautiful family touch to the experience. And our butler was great Gaurav Mendiratta & team including Krishna and Suraj, they made sure everything was aligned. One gesture, in particular, will stay with us. We accidentally left some valuable belongings behind, and the Mr.Singh & his team made sure they were safely returned to us quickly after our departure. That honesty and care go far beyond luxury — they define true hospitality. Raffles Udaipur was more than just a place to stay; it was a pause from the hustle , a moment of peace, and a home away from home. We leave with beautiful memories, a strong feeling that we will return.

The property is beautiful, expansive, and impressively well maintained, with plenty of activities to enjoy during the day. However, there were several aspects of our stay that unfortunately did not meet the expectations associated with Raffles, especially considering we had opted for the Romance at Raffles package at an additional cost. These issues collectively took away from what was meant to be a very special occasion. 1. There was a huge gap between the package inclusions and the actual experience. 2. We had specifically requested an upper-floor room and made the booking nearly two months in advance. Despite this, we were allocated a room on the second floor. Later, while exploring the property, we noticed that rooms on the upper floors appeared to be unoccupied, making the allocation difficult to understand. 3. We had informed the team in advance that we would prefer a non-alcoholic alternative. Unfortunately, we neither received an alternative nor any communication regarding our request. 4. During checkout, we specifically asked whether there were any pending dues and were informed that there were none. Since my card details had already been shared, I assumed any remaining amount would be settled automatically if required. It was therefore quite embarrassing to be stopped at the Lakeshore and asked to pay an outstanding amount of ₹10k. While I understand that billing errors can happen, the situation left me feeling extremely uncomfortable in front of my wife and took away from an otherwise memorable occasion. 5. Before our visit, we tried calling the spa multiple times using the contact number provided in the app, but no one answered. As a result, we were unable to book a couple's spa session for our special occasion, which was disappointing. Overall, while the property, food, and many members of your team were excellent, the experience did not fully reflect the premium service and attention to detail that one associates with the Raffles brand.

I wanted a comfortable stay with at least 100 Mbps internet for my work and great food for my palate. I got both of these at Raffles. The stay was very comfortable and luxurious. The internet was very good and stable so I could work without any interruption and the food was outstanding. The service was great as well.

Had a great overall stay at Raffles Udaipur. Beautiful property, excellent food and wonderful hospitality. Special thanks to Abhinav at Reception for being very helpful and cooperative, and Laxman for excellent service during dinner. The only issue was a dirty/hot water problem in the bathroom, which required multiple calls before the room was eventually changed. A little more proactive responsiveness from the team would improve the experience.

I had booked the second best category at Raffles but i think it was not worth it at all. Its very over rated.i wasted my money The package which i booked had a very bad buffet dinner where there was no place to sit also

But what truly made our experience exceptional was the warmth, dedication, and personalized service of the incredible team. A very special mention to Sahil Chhabra from the Butler Team, who delivered truly high-touch, impeccable service throughout our stay. His attentiveness, warmth, and ability to anticipate every little need made us feel genuinely cared for. His service added so much to our experience and turned our stay into one of our most cherished memories. Ankit Kumar, FB Manager, deserves a special appreciation as well. He went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best culinary experience. From the scrumptious meals across the restaurants to personally helping us decide the menu and making sure every detail was taken care of, his personal attention and genuine hospitality stood out beautifully. And then there was Sammer, our Baggi driver, who made exploring the magnificent property so much fun! He took us around to some of the most beautiful and photogenic spots across the sprawling 21 acres, and to top it all, he had an amazing eye for photography and happily helped us capture some wonderful memories along the way. 📸 Raffles Udaipur is undoubtedly a beautiful property, but it is the people who bring the magic to life. The attention to detail, personalized hospitality, genuine warmth, and effortless service from the entire team made our stay truly special. The room service was extremely slow. And the food was very average. The buffet was very limited with not much options. Non veg food options were limited and not upto the mark. The property and rooms were beautiful. Landscape was amazing.

The staff is really sweet and have taken very good care of us during our stay. It was a special occasion and they ensured the moments became memorable. Thanks to Abhishek and team..

Land scapes are not properly maintained. Grass outside our room 114 was not properly maintained. Also fruit & food is not upto the mark. In the ball room entry cable duct is made which is quite inconvenient.

Dear Raffles Udaipur Team, I recently concluded a three-night stay at Raffles Udaipur. While the property itself is stunning, the overall experience did not meet the standards I associate with the Raffles brand. The property is beautiful, impeccably maintained, and the rooms are excellent. However, beyond the physical product, the service and hospitality consistently fell short of expectations. There were a few staff members who were genuinely warm and helpful, but they appeared to be overwhelmed during busy periods. As a guest, I should not have to repeatedly remind the staff for basic service. Whether it was clearing plates after meals, refilling water, or attending to simple requests, the service was consistently slow and required multiple follow-ups. Housekeeping was equally disappointing. Our room was not replenished with face and hand towels, and the patio area, including the chairs, was dusty and dirty to the point that it was unusable. Despite specifically requesting that it be cleaned, nothing was done during our stay. As an Accor Plus Explorer member, I also found it inconvenient that I had to present my membership card for every single food and beverage transaction throughout the stay. It would provide a much smoother guest experience if the membership could be verified once during check-in (or applied automatically at checkout), with the eligible benefits extended across all applicable charges. This feels like a simple process improvement that would significantly enhance the experience. The spa experience was also underwhelming and did not reflect the standards expected of a luxury resort. My wife and I had specifically requested individual treatment rooms, yet we were placed in a couples’ room. Additionally, I have never experienced a massage with a bright light directly above the treatment table. The overall ambience and attention to detail were not conducive to the relaxing, premium spa experience one expects from Raffles. The checkout experience was perhaps the most disappointing part of the stay. The main living room was completely taken over by an event, leaving little consideration for departing guests. Even more surprising, the associate handling our checkout did not ask a single question about our stay or whether we had enjoyed our experience. For a luxury hotel, this lack of engagement was astonishing. Finally, it took approximately 45 minutes for our luggage to be delivered to the Lakehouse after checkout, unnecessarily delaying our departure. A luxury hotel is defined not only by its architecture or rooms but by the quality of its hospitality. Raffles has built a global reputation for intuitive, personalized, and flawless service. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at Raffles Udaipur. The property is worthy of the Raffles name; the service and overall guest experience, at least during my stay, were not. I hope this feedback is taken in the spirit intended. My comments are not about isolated incidents but about service standards that consistently fell short across multiple touchpoints. Raffles Udaipur has all the ingredients to be one of India’s finest luxury resorts, but it needs to deliver the level of hospitality that guests expect from one of the world’s most prestigious hotel brands.
