An Exceptional Stay at Fairmont Udaipur Our stay at the Fairmont Udaipur was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The property itself is stunning—beautifully designed, impeccably maintained, and set in a peaceful, scenic location that truly feels like a luxury retreat. What really stood out was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to make our stay comfortable. Service was seamless, thoughtful, and consistently exceeded our expectations. The food was excellent across the board, with great variety and quality at every meal. We never had a single issue during our stay, which says a lot for a resort of this size. Traveling with kids, we especially appreciated how family-friendly the resort is. The sports and activity areas were amazing, giving the kids plenty to do, and they absolutely loved the pool—it was one of the highlights of the trip for them. Overall, Fairmont Udaipur delivers the perfect balance of luxury, comfort, and hospitality. We left with great memories and would absolutely return and recommend it to anyone visiting Udaipur.

Overall decent, however found your housekeeping a bit lacking. During makeup and turn down, dirty glasses and plates were not cleared. Also when requesting for additional teacups, instead of bringing me fresh cups, I was requested to return the dirty ones which were then washed and returned to me for use. Not only was this time consuming and delayed me having my tea, but also quite shocking. I stay in hotels for 80-100 nights a year for last 30+ years and I must say this is the first I have ever experienced this and for what we are being charged here, one should be able to get additional cups at the blink of an eye.

Overall, the stay was fabulous and the property itself is truly beautiful. The ambiance, service, and overall experience lived up to expectations. The only issue we faced was during room switching, which unfortunately took up almost half of our day. The first room that was allotted had a privacy concern, which I immediately highlighted and requested a room change. As a Gold member, I also asked if an upgrade could be considered. Because of the delay, we missed the evening sunset at the property, which was something we were really looking forward to. Apart from this one inconvenience, everything else about the stay was excellent. With smoother room allocation, the experience would have been absolutely perfect.
