Our stay was disappointing compared to previous visits. The check-in process was delayed, and the room was not ready on time. While the room itself was clean, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom throughout our stay. The quality of the food in the restaurant was also below expectations. The meals lacked taste and were not comparable to the quality we experienced during previous visits. In addition, the swimming pools were noticeably dirty and did not appear to be properly maintained. We hope these issues can be addressed to improve the guest experience in the future.

Here’s a more polished and detailed version of your review: The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, meeting the expectations associated with a premium hotel brand. The overall accommodation quality was very good and contributed positively to our stay. However, the food experience fell significantly below expectations. While the breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings provided a reasonable variety of dishes, the overall taste and quality were disappointing. Most dishes seemed to have a very similar flavor profile, regardless of the cuisine or ingredients, which gave the impression that the seasoning and spice balance was not properly tailored to each dish. As a result, the meals lacked distinction and failed to deliver the culinary experience expected from a hotel of this caliber. The soups were particularly disappointing. Throughout our stay, we tried several different soups, yet all of them lacked flavor, depth, and proper seasoning. This was consistently noticeable across all dining outlets and meal periods. The most disappointing aspect of our stay, however, was the attitude and handling of restaurant reservations by the team at Mr. Tailor Steakhouse. Our package was all-inclusive and clearly included one complimentary dining experience at the restaurant, subject to reservation. Initially, we understood the lack of availability due to the high occupancy levels during the Eid holiday period. However, our concern arose when the reservation agent informed us that there was no availability for guests staying on an all-inclusive package, while tables were apparently available for guests willing to pay separately. This response was highly disappointing and created the impression that all-inclusive guests were being treated differently despite having a contractual entitlement to dine at the restaurant. Such an approach does not reflect the level of service, fairness, or hospitality expected from a restaurant operating within a Rixos property. The situation left us feeling undervalued as guests and unfortunately had a negative impact on our overall holiday experience. While the accommodation itself was excellent, the food quality and the reservation management at Mr. Tailor Steakhouse significantly affected our satisfaction and prevented the stay from meeting the standards we expected from the Rixos brand. Definitely will not book in future.

Dear Rixos Hotel Team, My family and I had an exceptional stay at your hotel. From the very start, Mr. Ezat welcomed us warmly and supported us with a room upgrade to the best sea view—truly amazing. Everyone we met was kind and helpful, from the parking team (Mano and Ouy) to all the supervisors throughout the resort. We are also especially thankful to Prince Hakim for his wonderful character and dedication to making guests happy. On our last day, Ms. Sonia arranged a late check-out for us, and we sincerely appreciate her kindness and care. This allowed us to enjoy the activities for even longer. Thank you all for your outstanding service. We highly recommend Rixos!
