We stayed at the hotel during a 14 hour layover. We had booked via Discover Qatar which promises personalized check in and check out times, but, the room was not ready when we arrived.
The team was very accommodating though and we were able to use the change room facility to change into our beach clothes. We enjoyed the beach and the beautiful pools. We were also able to go to breakfast. The breakfast was excellent.
We received one room after that but the 2nd room only became available after midday (we arrived at 6am) so it was a bit of a waste since we didn't even use the 2nd room.
The LOccitane products available in the room were excellent. The rooms are beautifully designed and very comfortable. There was a bit of an odour in the second room once we received it though.

Stayed for 6 nights in an all inclusive basis. The hotel was immaculate and we were greeted by the amazing Sufiyan at reception who was exceptional throughout allowing us to check in early after an overnight flight and arrival at 9am. Food in the Farmhouse for breakfast, lunch and dinner was of a very high quality. The pool had Hakeem, Lochan and Mert who were always very helpful and genuine and always smiling. The all inclusive is limited in that the cafe at the front of hotel only allows basic coffee and tea and none of the specialty bakes. The Asian restaurant was closed for our time there but went to Mr Tailor Steakhouse. Again the staff were phenomenal but the food wasn’t a patch on the Farmhouse. Tenderloin was very tough cut even though cooked medium. The ribs had more fat than meat but the meat was nice. Just a shame really. Visited the spa for a treatment with my wife and as all inclusive there was a 50% discount. It was a great experience. I’d certainly go back again to this hotel mainly for how I felt and was treated. Not a true all inclusive but there isn’t many in Doha so maybe it’s a new concept.

I enjoyed my stay at the Rixos Gulf and would recommend to others, 2 nice pools, one cooller than the other which was great.
There was not a lot of choice in breakfast cereals.

From the moment we arrived at Rixos, we were made to feel so welcome. We arrived quite late, but thankfully we still managed to catch lunch, and from that moment onwards, the hospitality and kindness we received were incredible.
I have stayed in many places and travelled to many destinations, but what really stood out to me here was the people. The staff didn’t just do their jobs — they genuinely went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, looked after and valued. They made our lives so much easier and our stay so much more enjoyable.
A very special thank you to Riah, Antan, Deshaun, Annan, Mr Oye, Bebek, Sonia and Rima. Every one of you has been wonderful, welcoming and kind to us.
I also want to give a special mention to the security team, especially Henry and Nazir. They were incredibly helpful, respectful and always willing to assist us whenever we needed anything. People like this make such a difference to a holiday.
What I will remember most about Rixos isn’t just the beautiful surroundings or the facilities — it’s the kindness of the people. When you treat people with respect and speak to them nicely, they genuinely go above and beyond to help you, and that is exactly what we experienced here.
To the entire Rixos team, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You made us feel more like guests who were genuinely cared for rather than just customers.

A very special thank you to Riha from Farmhouse Restaurant for her pleasant assistance, and to Izzat at the hotel reception for his exceptionally friendly and thoughtful service. He went above and beyond to accommodate our request for an anniversary cake and made our celebration even more memorable. We also truly appreciated his kindness in allowing us to continue enjoying the hotel’s facilities until 6:00 PM, giving us more time to relax and make the most of our stay.
