While we were stuck in Doha because of the conflict with Iran, we were treated with the best hospitality from everyone at the Rixos. From the front desk to those at the restaurant to those at the spa, it was truly an oasis in an otherwise difficult situation.

We were one of the many Transit tourists stranded in Qatar not knowing when and how we would be able to continue our voyage. Despite the threat of missiles from Iran, our stay was execellent. Heartfelt thank you to The staff at the front desk, customer relations, room service and the restaurant Farmhouse. You put a smile on our face each morning. Your hospitality was exemplary. You calmed our anxieties with your kindness and readiness to serve our needs. Very grateful to the Qatar Tourism Office for extending our stay for a week until we could leave on one of the relief flights on Qatar Airways. Shukran

Staff was amazing. Unfortunately we Rixos did not want to refund the night of the 2nd March as Qatar Airways said our hotel would do. This night should’ve been paid by Qatar Tourism. It is unfair as the hotel will receive this money and also ours, making twice the money for that night. Please help us solve this issue.

Dear Mr. K., Thank You for your kind words about our staff. We truly appreciate it, and we hope you reached home safely. We are sorry for the confusion regarding the night of 2nd March. Kindly allow us to clarify that the hotel does not receive payment for charges that are not invoiced. The night that was paid directly by you is not invoiced by the hotel, which means we do not receive payment twice for the same stay. For any reimbursement related to this night, we would kindly recommend checking directly with Qatar Airways, as they are responsible for handling refunds in such cases. As clarified to us, Qatar Tourism covers the stay from the date of your departure at thehotel until the approved extension period. We have already spoken with the relevant parties, and this process has been communicated to all hotels involved. We understand how frustrating this situation must be, and we are sorry for the inconvenience caused. We sincerely hope the matter is resolved for you soon.
