We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It's conveniently located close to the station, and the atmosphere is warm and relaxing. The staff were incredibly helpful. When we arrived, we were greeted by Abham, who was very welcoming and kindly helped us contact a restaurant. We also met Napat, a Thai staff member who took great care of us and gave us excellent recommendations for local restaurants. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back on our next visit to Takayama.

Hotel is well located for travelers using the Takayama station. The tour buses and associated traffic made the bar and restaurant limited, but certainly understandable given the revenue stream they generate. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful.

Enjoyed the convenience of close to the stations and I found the bed comfortable and softer than others in Japan (which I prefer). On the downside, the breakfast "hot" food was delicious but room temperature or lukewarm which was disappointing and I could also hear the train go by (not terrible, but I could hear it which is not the same at other hotels near a train station).

went in Oct, we booked two rooms for our family of four. the twin room for the boys had a bad dusty smell that was either from the aircon or the carpet. the king bed room was at the corner and we had a small balcony, which was great cos we could open the door and let the cold air in. great views of the mountains from the higher floors. Breakfast was pretty much the same everyday. From the train station, just a straight walk to the hotel. Very convenient. For Lunch and Dinner, many options around Takayama, walkable from the hotel too. Attractions are walkable too. And if booking bus tickets at JR Station, all 5mins walk away. Super location!

Just felt it was okay but not above 7 out of 10, found bar staff a bit cold in the evenings and not happy! Coffee machine in the mornings had a very long wait and toaster was useless

Centrally located with gorgeous views of Takayama as I was at the top 8th floor The service was tip top, the onsen was very nice, although the temperature was only about 40°C. Breakfast buffet was modest but scrumptious.
