Convienient, easy to get to from station, good place to base from. Room is lovely and the private onsen is gorgeous. Glad to see a mix of staff like Ahmad that can communicate in English.

The hotel is just a short nice walk to Takayama station and my first impression was that it’s so beautifully decorated. The interior designs pay homage to the local crafts, especially the famous wooden furniture, and the attention to details is amazing. The whole ambiance is cozy and welcoming while still modern and sleek. The restaurant is another highlight: so beautiful and the foods were incredible - the breakfast buffet was among the best that I’ve ever had! Staff are all friendly, efficient and professional. Overall a super pleasant stay and will definitely come back if I visit Takayama again. Highly recommended!
