The hotel staff were very friendly and kind. Out room was Aircon temp control in the room. The ensuite was amazing and so we're the toiletries available. There was fresh bottled water and a Nespresso machine and pods to use. The hot public baths were relaxing and the breakfast buffet had a huge selection of foods with allergen cards for each item, so you can identify any allergies. All in all the stay was amazing.

"We had a wonderful stay at Mercure Hida Takayama! The hotel is modern, comfortable, and conveniently located near the station. The hot spring baths were extremely relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The only minor drawback is that the hotel doesn't provide its own car park, so self-driving guests will need to use nearby public parking. Overall, highly recommended!"

Mercure Hida Takayama is an absolutely brilliant hotel. Spacious room and very comfortable. There are two hot springs one inside and one outside. The buffet breakfast was very nice as it would be the only one choice as most of the Japanese restaurants were open between 10:30 to 11:00 in the morning. I will definitely come back if I visit Takayama again.
