Excellent location, nice sized room and staff very helpful

Relaxed enjoyable hotel environment. I would have given it a 10 except for the three afternoons I went to the bar the bar staff didn’t know how to open a champagne bottle or how to pour it. They apologised each time and got someone to help them, but, the senior person lost the opportunity to teach them how to do it as they took over instead. Before putting staff in bar is important they have some training and then supervision to encourage confidence and a high standard in bar skills.

Well located lovely hotel

Stayed two nights at this property which is walking distance to JR station, and a short walk to morning markets and old town. Hotel is clean and facilities adequate. Onsen was huge and well kept. Comfortable beds, but pillows abit hard, and no extra pillows. Not much hanging space for clothes in the room, and bathroom lacks space to place things or hang towels. Room is quite small, but managable. Wonderful staff and attentive too.
