We only stayed the night therefore never had a great deal of time to get to know the hotel or area. However, room was modern and well delivered. The reception staff and breakfast staff were lovely and helpful. We had a rear room overlooking the railway and heard trains at bed time then were awakened at 5am by three noisy trains leaving the station 400 metres away. Then at 6am. Fortunately the comfy bed allowed us to get back to sleep.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It's conveniently located close to the station, and the atmosphere is warm and relaxing. The staff were incredibly helpful. When we arrived, we were greeted by Abham, who was very welcoming and kindly helped us contact a restaurant. We also met Napat, a Thai staff member who took great care of us and gave us excellent recommendations for local restaurants. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back on our next visit to Takayama.
