Hotel Valkenburg by Mercure 4 stars

After the initial issues at checkin it was fine. I was assigned a dirty room first bed slept in not made dirty cups etc. I was assigned a second room and there was a couple having an intimate moment when I opened the door to all of our surprise. Third time was a charm. It was decently cleaned could’ve been a little better but was decent . Easy walk to town to lots of restaurants and shops. Staff was wonderful thought especially Pietra. The manager asked what he could do to correct the issues I incurred but that’s not really up to me to say. Honestly he should’ve said how about a discount on your stay but all I got was a free drink . The room is big as well as shower and bed was comfy. The rooms seem to hold sound well as it was busy but rarely heard anyone. There were lots do outside like hike or bike as well.

A bit in the middle of nowhere

Stayed at the hotel one night before continuing our travels by car. Very good location and quiet and fantastic if you are sport minded (walk, cycling in particular). The only minor draw back during our stay was the car parking.

Upon arrival staff was very friendly, once in my room I found cobwebs and dust on the curtians and on the lights, table also. Due to entering late I had asked the front desk to send house keeping up to my room the next morning. For my either stay housekeeping came in every day and just made my bed and added new towels, my sheets were never changed nor was the dust problem taken care of. It was very disappointing cause the location and staff was wonderful. Due to this I would never return to this hotel.

I like your hotel and location. It's also very nice and fancy. I felt the bathroom was not super clean and the bed sheets did not smell fresh (musty). It is a bit inconvenient that the parking is far out and not sure if this is safe at night.
