Service from the Hotel staff was Fawlty Towers bad. From check in to check out they were hopeless. Despite showing emails from the organiser of my booking to their staff they refused to amend the booking to include meals and parking and also refused to follow up. It was up to me to contact the Organiser to contact them and then when I got back EVERY Night, there was a shift change and back to square one. Poor desk staff were clueless, confused and although not rude very unhelpful and NO Manager in sight or on site!

Our son fractured his neck and was rushed to RPH for emergency surgery. We are from Busselton, first night we we booked late, put in a room on 9th floor where all the works were going on (wasn't an issue for us as we were at hospital early next day) we were unsure on what was happening 2nd night, once we found out I approached the manager early about rebooking the same room, no servicing woukd be required. I noticed the price had increased by over $100, for a Tuesday 😲. I asked him if he could possibly negotiate with the price he refused. We then sat for the next 2 hrs upto check out time scouring the city for affordable accommodation close to rph, which proved difficult. I then found a third party (booking.com) had a room for a lower price at the establishment. So I booked it. Upon checkout I then checked out, and then essentially checked back in with our bags in hand. The reception clerk had the cheek to tell me we can stay in the same room and do we need servicing of that room. I was not impressed. All the added stress of searching for accommodation for my husband and I could have been avoided. Tgey kept telling me that they don't have authority to change the price blah blah blah. But will pay a commission rate to a third party. I wanted to negotiate directly with the hotel not third party. I asked them if I had walked in the door as a new customer which room would I be put in? Since the 9th floor was the floor with all the works going on, they couldn't answer me. Disappointed that no empathy or assistance given, for what was an emotional and stressful time for us. The manager the first night at least gave us 2 drink cards because we were put on the 9th floor where she said it may get very noisy in the morning. That marred the experience, but then we weren't there for bells and whistles bed was comfortable air con cold.

The bed was two single beds pushed together making it quite uncomfortable. Furthermore, I tried to use the iron and it was dirty and stained my clothing.

Great hotel location & was exactly what my friends & I were looking for. 5 single beds over 2 next door rooms was perfect. However, the big disappointment was there was no parking available after it clearly states on your website that parking is available. The lady that served me at reception told me your car park was under maintenance, but the receptionist serving the couple checking in next to me told those guests that your car park was full?!! I understand maintenance needs to take place, but it would have been really handy to be communicated that before our stay so we could have organised parking & not had to pay a fortune to leave our car in a carpark overnight, not to mention the walk to & from with our luggage. This failure to communicate is unacceptable.

Declined request for a 1 hour late check out despite staying 3 weeks. Restaurant closed too early and closed on Sundays. Room was not properly cleaned, housekeeper spent less than 45 minutes simply replacing soap/coffeee and tidying bed linnen. No hoovering floor and not properly cleaning surfaces. No gym
