The room was great, however the plunge pool was a bit pointless - it wasn’t very clean and just took up space on the balcony that would have been better used for sun loungers. The staff were lovely and the location was really good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the NIKO. We had a seafront room with marvellous views across the bay, and although we had read a few reviews before our visit mentioning that the road between the hotel and the boulevard could sometimes be noisy for front-facing rooms, this was certainly not our experience. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. All the staff we encountered were unfailingly helpful, friendly and welcoming. They were a real credit to the hotel, and the high standard of service undoubtedly added to the enjoyment of our stay. We were looking for a modern hotel with excellent facilities, within easy walking distance of an appealing town centre offering a good choice of quality restaurants and tavernas. We also wanted to avoid having to rely on courtesy buses or taxis to get into town, while retaining the option of exploring further afield. The NIKO more than met all of these requirements. As an added bonus, Agios Nikolaos itself is an attractive and pleasantly vibrant small town, with plenty to see, do and enjoy within easy reach of the hotel. Overall, the NIKO proved to be an excellent choice for our stay, and we would be very happy to return.

The hotel is beautiful, and the infinity pool is amazing. Breakfast had a brilliant choice, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely, very comfortable, and the bed was especially good. The hotel is also in a fantastic location. The room’s position worked really well for my husband, who has had a stroke. Being close to the pool and lifts made getting around much easier for him, and we really appreciated that. The downside was that our room was right beside the restaurant. People were sitting and eating very close to our balcony, so it didn’t feel private or somewhere we could relax. We were also woken early each morning by the sound of plates and cups being stacked from around 7am, and the bar could be quite noisy at times. Overall, we had a lovely stay and thought the hotel, room and staff were excellent. We would happily return, but would request a quieter room with a more private balcony next time

When booking we upgraded to a front facing seaview room. We were assigned a room on 2nd floor. This was not the room we were hoping for. We experienced considerable traffic noise and when coaches and larger vehicles passed they were able to see straight into the room. We therefore had to keep curtains closed at all times. We asked staff if we were able to move rooms. We were told hotel was fully booked, however rooms were showing available on hotel website. The staff in general were very dismissive. Rarely smiled, didn’t even ask when we checked out if we had enjoyed our stay.

Nice rooms. Great, friendly staff. Wet cushions at pool after rain not good. Cushions from loungers and outdoor dining tables should have been removed and put back after rain two days in a row. Created long lines for a table at bfast. Staff did not tilt pool lounger cushions to remove pooled water on them. Other than that it was very nice.

Stayed for 11 days. Excellent hotel in a great location with friendly staff. Food and drink excellent and was reasonably priced for a hotel. Needed to place towels on the sun beds as there were not enough for all guests. A little disappointed with out room as it was described as a superior sea view. It was on floor 2 above reception and overlooking the busy main road. You could just about see the sea through the trees. We therefore didn’t use the balcony as we would normally in a hotel. Overall a good hotel but would not rate this as 5* as indicated by Jet2 and would warn others to look closely at the description of the “superior” sea view rooms.

Our stay was wonderful, the hotel is beautiful, the staff are incredibly attentive and kind. The location and proximity to Agios Nikolaos is amazing, 5 minute walk into the centre yet when you're at the hotel you feel like you could be somewhere so peaceful. Loved every second of our stay.

The hotel is well located and all the staff are attentive, friendly and always ready to help. It's clear the design of the hotel is boutique, but unfortunately not practical. Lighting in the rooms are an absolute nightmare. Having a diagram to show visitors how they are supposed to work would be helpful. Safe boxes are located too low down which doesn't help. Water from the shower spills over onto the bedroom floor. There's no hand basin in the toilet so you have to open the door and wash your hands in the basin in the bedroom. Not very hygienic. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel is sound proof.
