Dear Hotel Team, I wanted to share some feedback regarding our recent stay, which was our second visit to your hotel. Our first stay was excellent. The room was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and we had a very positive overall experience. This was one of the main reasons we decided to return. Unfortunately, our second stay did not quite meet the same standard. We booked a room with a private pool, as these were the only rooms available at the time. We were already aware that the pool was not heated, but because it is also mostly in the shade, the water was extremely cold and we found it practically unusable. Furthermore, during our two-night stay, the pool was not cleaned, and leaves and other debris from the surrounding trees remained floating in the water. Considering the additional price charged for a room with a private pool, we did not feel that it offered good value in its current condition. Our main concern, however, was the parking situation. During our previous stay, valet parking was complimentary. We could simply arrive at the hotel, leave the keys, and the car would be parked for us. This time, we were surprised to learn that the service now costs €20 per day. We understand that hotel policies and services can change, but the location of the hotel makes this particularly difficult for guests travelling by car. During the afternoon and evening, finding street parking nearby is extremely challenging. On one occasion, we spent almost an hour driving around the area simply trying to find a parking space. Considering that this is a five-star hotel in a very busy tourist area, and considering the room rates, we feel that complimentary parking or valet service would be a very valuable and appropriate part of the guest experience. Had we known about the parking situation in advance, we may have considered choosing another hotel, as having a car and being able to explore the surrounding area was important to us. We also experienced some disappointing service during breakfast. The food itself was very good, but some of the staff did not seem particularly friendly or attentive. I was offered oranges by a member of staff and subsequently asked for them several times, but each time they were forgotten. Eventually, I simply gave up asking. That being said, we would also like to acknowledge the positive aspects of our stay. The breakfast itself was very good, as was the food served by the main pool. The cleanliness and general condition of the rooms were also very good, and overall we still enjoyed many aspects of our stay. We are sharing this feedback because our first experience with your hotel was so positive, and we genuinely expected the same standard on our return. The parking situation, the condition and usability of the private pool, and some aspects of the breakfast service unfortunately made this visit noticeably less enjoyable. We hope you will take this feedback into consideration, particularly regarding parking arrangements for hotel guests and the maintenance and usability of the private pools. Kind regards
