Reception staff are helpful, room is clean,spacious, well laid out with confortable furniture. Everything in the bathroom works well, towels are fluffy. Ambience in breakfast room is great, spread is good. Location is within 15 min walk to town centre. Veneto 1860 is a nice restaurant with seaview just 2 min down the road which is not to be missed.

The Ibis Style in Heraklion is the best of the many Ibis hotels we've stayed in. The room for 3 was splendid, really spacious and had a huge terrace. The breakfast was incredible and the hotel staff was particularly friendly. The hotel is in a great location. The old town is right outside the hotel and the archaeological museum is a 3-minute walk away. We loved our stay!!

Our stay at ibis Styles Heraklion Central was generally positive. The hotel is extremely well located – walking distance to key sites, restaurants, and shopping – which is a major plus. The rooms are clean, modern, and functional. We stayed in a family suite, which gave us the space we needed, though it felt more like a well-designed business hotel room than anything particularly upmarket. We did find a vape in the pocket of one of the bathrobes, which was a bit off-putting and made us question the housekeeping standards. Breakfast was decent – well stocked and covered the basics – but don’t expect anything to write home about. On price: I usually stay in 4–5 star hotels in cities like Sydney, London, and New York for business, and while I understand I was booking a family suite here, the rate felt surprisingly high. For the cost, I expected something a touch more refined or premium. It’s a good hotel, but the value-for-money equation didn’t quite land for me. In summary: great location, clean and functional, but lacks the polish or value of similarly priced hotels in larger markets.
