Communication style is absolutely critical. You must pay very close attention to what and how you say it. In crisis management, someone telling you to "calm down" with a fake tone is far from convincing; they are merely adopting an attitude that shifts the burden onto the other party. Furthermore, these methods are completely outdated. When there is a clearly mismanaged experience, you should neither repeatedly apologize nor repeat the phrase "you misunderstood" in an utterly fake and insincere tone of voice. It is quite appalling that someone at the level of a hotel leader does not grasp this basic communication language.

A lovely hotel, about a mile from the centre. Bus stop nearby, for a short journey in to the city. Hotel very modern and clean. The staff were very friendly.

The initial room on the fifth floor had unbearable street noise, likely due to a gap in the window, which forced me to ask for a move in the middle of the night. I appreciate that they accommodated me with a new room on the seventh floor, where the noise is significantly more bearable, even though it faces the main street.
