Really enjoyed this hotel. Upgraded to the suite before we arrived, and it was the best choice, as the room was modern and spacious and was perfect for a week long stay. It also included the club room, which was very nice. Snow was our host, and she looked after us beautifully. It was nice to go there at the end of the day for cocktail hour. The breakfast in the restaurant was delightful. Such a beautiful ambience, which a good selection of food which was different each day. We could also order off the menu as well as the buffet. We were greeted nicely by the staff and shown our seats, where we were normally served by Anwar or Vjay. Both staff members were so friendly and polite and always went above and beyond to look after us, even making conversation and little jokes to keep us happy. A very pleasant experience and we miss them. It was easy to get transport from the hotel, either taxi or the hotel cars. We have only positive memories from the hotel and all their wonderful staff. I was quite disappointed with the variety of breakfast options in the buffet. There should be more options of labneh and haloumi cheese etc... Also during my stay we were not warned about the storm and the unsafe weather conditions as guests. I was unaware of the weather conditions and walked to Dubai Mall. I think it should be the hotels responsibility to inform guests about the dangers of the weather conditions and not to leave the hotel. I was unable to access any road walking back from Dubai Mall. Every road was flooded and took me over 3 hours to find a clear footpath to safely cross the road from several streets away with my little boy. We walked in flooded and dirty water which could have been avoided if the hotel warned us about the weather conditions in Dubai. We wouldn't of left the hotel and been exposed to dangerous weather conditions. I also slipped and hurt my back whilst walking to the hotel in the torrential rain.

only thing to improve is to allow more casual dress code in the dresscode in 2nd floor restaurant. at least for guests. they didnt allow me be in sandals, but being officially dressed is hot.

This hotel was excellent, I've nothing negative to say at all .....which is not like me!! The staff were helpful, friendly, polite in fact they couldn't do enough for you. The only thing which is not a negative, I was expecting the room to be a bit bigger than it was but having said that it wasn't small ...I just assumed from the photos online It was bigger than it actually was. The beds were super comfy with matching super comfy pillows dressed in white Egyptian cotton i think? The texture was lovely. Mmmm
