Avoid if you value your health. Our stay in room 608 involved a serious bug infestation, resulting in over 60 bites (documented with photographic evidence). Staff admitted the problem by immediately moving us to another room and offering minimal compensation as an apology, but since our departure, management has ignored repeated requests for further action, since the compensation received was not enough to cover the sanitation expenses and the damaged luggage that had to be discarded to prevent bringing the infestation home. Additionally, Accor customer service has not provided a solution or compensation yet. As a loyal Accor guest, I was distressed to find myself without support when I found that the hotel is not affiliated with Accor’s central mediation service which leaves me unprotected. The hotel has ignored my formal emails for over three weeks now, which feels like an attempt to make me give up. The lack of response leaves me with no other choice than reporting the incident to local health authorities and the European Consumer Centre. Accor should not allow hotels to operate with such poor hygiene and accountability; this experience has cost them a loyal guest. I know the reply to this review will be the standard "nothing was found" or "we have strict protocols" response. But the staff’s immediate offer of compensation and the number of bites during our stay speak for themselves.
