Well designed hotel in good location

The location next to Noord metro station is great - only a few minutes ride into Centraal Station. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed (kettle, coffee machine, fridge), and I like that the toiletries include separate shampoo and conditioner. The showers are really good. Other reviewers have praised the beds, however I found it to be extremely uncomfortable. The bed was very firm, which suited my partner as he sleeps on his back. I sleep on my side, and woke several times a night having to change my position due to hip pain (not something I usually suffer from). The beds alone would prevent me from staying here again, but my partner was happy. Another concern was that the windows in the room are locked. I understand there are safety concerns, but usually you can open windows at least a little to let some air in. Despite the windows not opening, there seemed to be a permanent draught coming from them. The bar area is comfortable and spacious, and ideal for waiting before check in. Staff will happily store luggage for you.

Not always easy finding a nice hotel with a good location and appropriate accommodation. This one has all of the above (metro is 2 mins walk and then 10 mins ride to the city center, nice beds, clean rooms) and a lovely breakfast. Overall it’s functional to visit Amsterdam and comfortable enough to have a restful stay. Thank you to all staff for making our stay very comfortable.

Excellent location, excellent rooms, very high bed ):(, indulgent breakfast, very kind and nice hotel staff!!! Last train to the area - 00:00 at night is a bit of a bummer. Highly recommend, the place is very welcoming and very helpful. :) :)

The hotel is placed at a very convenient location, the staff is lovely and very helpful, the rooms are cosy and clean. There are plenty of food places and shops around and metro station next door. The bar is open until very late. What's not to like?

Good price, modern rooms (soft beds, big bathrooms, large smart t.v.) and great location. Easy to get to and from Amsterdam center using the nearby metro stop. Maximum 8-10 minutes total time. Also train station is only 2 metro stops away. From there you can travel the whole country. If you are trying to decide, choose this one. You won't regret it.
