Room was great. Breakfast was disorganised chaos food meant to hot food was cold there was absolutely no sense of urgency. No evening meals on the two nights I was there but if it was anything like breakfast then maybe it was a good thing

Location: good Staff: friendly Cleanness: Poor. Black mould build up on mirrors, bathroom, as you enter the room you can smell the mould. Room service: not consistent. Some days there replenish your tea/coffee milk, other days they forget. New replacement towels smelt damp. If you ask reception for replacements, they are happy to help. Resturant: good.

Incredibly rude restaurant staff member, acknowledged by hotel reception staff as "that's just her" as if being rude to customers is somehow quaint or endearing. Only in North Queensland would this incredibly poor behaviour towards customers be not only timetabled but celebrated?; And this same staff member would be permitted to smoke in the front of the hotel while appearing to have disdain for subbing guests. I seriously think hotel management have an OH&S responsibility to check whether this hotel restaurant staff member is unwell or suffering. Please do check on this staff members welfare. Hotel reception staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Posters everywhere about reduced service levels over Easter felt punitive, like one was living in a dormitory, and guilty of bracing rules not paying to stay in a hotel. Rooms were clean, well presented but tired/aged/old.
