No housekeeping, restaurant facilities or room service due to shortage of staff over Xmas. Only advised of this 4 days before stay. No compensation or reduced rate but we could purchase breakfast and cold meats and they would be left in room. Kettle didn’t work. Didn’t fix until last day due to low staff. Evacuated at 10pm xmas night. Guests waited outside for 30mins false alarm. No apology, explanation or compensation. Extremely poor service.

Check in and check out was friendly and efficient. Food at the in-house restaurant was excellent. Hotel is a little dated, but rooms were spacious and comfortable.
