Unfortunately a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. The roof lights did not work and the house keeping removed one of the bed side lamps globes. The carpet also requires cleaning. The toilet was also not cleaned properly from a previous guest stay. The check in process also takes an incredibly long time to complete, especially when I had already checked in on-line.

Firstly, when I checked into the room, I found the the Foxtel system didn't work so was unable to watch TV. I notified reception and they went to fix it while I was out for dinner, however when I returned it still didn't work. The guy from reception came up with me. And after about 20 minutes of mucking around, the foxtel system came up but when I went to change channel, nothing would happen. I tried to call reception to avaoild another trip downstairs but the reception button on the phone was calling a Sydney number and I got an voice menu. When I pressed the option for reception, it would disconnect. I couldn't be bothered trying again that night so I watched YouTube on my phone. The next day I told them and was moved to another room. The tv worked in this one which was a plus, but the air con was so loud (had a screeching sound) that I had to turn it off. Of course that meant I woke up hot throughout the night. It was also a room with a queen bed, not a king. That in itself does t bother me (there's only one of me) but I. Noticed it was still charged at the same rate. On top of all that, as a gold member there is usually a welcome drink offered. There was nothing. No acknowledgement of status(my previous stay here was fantastic).

Due to changing work requirements, I needed to check out one night early. I advised reception of this over 36hrs before my checkout time but was advised, quote bluntly there would be jo refund. I asked again upon checkout and was advised they would check with manager and get back to me - which they never did. I solely stay with Accor group and am a Silver Member, but this experience will make me review my future accommodation choices.
