I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Mercure Rockhampton. I was originally booked for two nights but following my doctor’s advice I had to cancel my travel plans and extend my stay to four nights. The staff were excellent in accommodating my needs.

Generally happy but disappointed in some features of the room. Very loud annoying water-hammer in 803. Mentioned to reception but just told to adjust the flow until noise stops but then the shower experience suffers. Also was unable to open bathroom door from kitchen area as handle was very stiff. Handyman moved handle with fixed problem but then still trouble using handle because knuckles then hit door frame.
