It was our anniversary and had made prior arrangements about the room set up and other arrangements, none of it was done.

While we are pleased that you found the hotel beautiful and enjoyed several aspects of your stay, we are truly sorry that your overall experience did not meet your expectations, especially on such a special occasion. We sincerely apologize that the anniversary arrangements you had communicated in advance were not prepared as expected. This is particularly disappointing to read, as special celebrations are moments we aim to make memorable for our guests. Please accept our heartfelt apologies for this oversight. We are also sorry to hear about the challenges during arrival and check-in, particularly after coordinating your airport pickup and arrival time. We understand how frustrating it must have been to wait for your room despite the prior communication, and we will review this internally with our reservations and front office teams to ensure better coordination in the future. Additionally, we regret the housekeeping lapse when your room was not serviced the following day. The Hotel Gem is a very beautiful hotel located near the embassies of Nairobi. The hotel is new, clean and the staff is overly attentive and friendly. We were able to walk to a nearby mall without a problem. We ate meals in the hotel and they were all delicious. I recommend making time for a spa treatment. It was well enjoyed!

My wife, 11-month old son, and I were in Nairobi to attend meetings at an embassy. In spite of changes to our flight schedule and other hiccups, the staff of Gem Forest were adaptable, flexible, and attentive to our needs. We were made to feel very welcome; with our son receiving lots of positive interactions from staff at the front desk, restaurants, and those from housekeeping. The room was clean and tidy (thank you Immaculate for your hard work!) and we appreciated everything that was done to make our stay so positive. Thank you everyone!

I absolutely loved my stay at Gem Forest Hotel Nairobi – MGallery Collection. The design feels like a sophisticated jewel box, with elegant details everywhere from the lobby to the room furnishings, and the property’s location by Karura Forest makes it feel peaceful and exclusive at the same time. My room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and very comfortable, with all the modern amenities I needed and thoughtful touches that made it feel special. I especially enjoyed the pool and fitness facilities, which were spotless and relaxing, as well as the excellent Shanta Spa, where the treatments and atmosphere were truly rejuvenating. Dining was a highlight: each restaurant offered delicious, well-presented food, and I appreciated the variety of cuisines and the warm, attentive service at every meal.
