Dear Matt, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback regarding your parents’ recent stay. We are truly sorry to hear that their experience did not meet expectations and that you felt let down in several key areas. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the difficulties your parents encountered with luggage upon arrival. We understand how important accessibility and comfort are, particularly for older guests, and we acknowledge that improvements are needed in this area. The absence of lift access is a known limitation of the building, and we are actively reviewing options to improve guest support services. We are also very sorry for the inconvenience caused by the draught beer issue during their stay. This was due to a supply oversight, which has since been addressed with our supplier and bar team to ensure this does not happen again. We are concerned to hear your comments regarding the food quality. This feedback has been passed to our kitchen team and management to investigate thoroughly. Providing warm, freshly prepared meals is a priority for us, and we regret that this was not reflected during their visit. Although our hotel is indeed traditional in style, we agree that some areas are in need of refurbishment, and we have plans in place to address this over the coming months. We take all guest comments seriously, and your feedback will be used to help us improve. We sincerely hope we can restore your confidence in a future visit.
