Having spent 3 days a week here for the last few months, I’m pleased to see recent changes. The steam room is soon to be back in action and work has been done in some bedrooms. I’ve always found the team great and when you stay away from home as much as I do, they do make you feel welcome and get to know you which is great. There are a few places nearby for food but when I have dined in the restaurant or bar, the food has always been first class. The location, team and facilities at this hotel do make it a great base and I would highly recommend.

I recently stayed at the Mercure Nottingham Sherwood Hotel, and I was thoroughly impressed. The entire staff was attentive and friendly, but a special shout-out goes to Mykhailo at the bar, who made every evening a delight with his warm hospitality and fantastic service. The chefs also deserve high praise for the delicious, well-prepared meals—everything was fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Nottingham. The welcoming atmosphere made my stay truly memorable!

The reception staff were very helpful, mainly Marilena who without hesitation transfered me to another room which was quieter than the one facing the main road. She was super efficient & nothing was too much trouble. Imad was also very helpful in locating my phone charger!

The room was a good size with a comfortable bed. The hotel facilities were nice and roomy. The phone did not work and the safe was locked open and not able to be used.
