For the weekend it was just hubby and me visiting friends . The hotel was excellent . Macjei checked us in very professional snd informative The room was lovely very spacious and spotlessly clean We ate in the restaurant first night good selection on the menu snd a really good price. I went for the herbed chicken and hubby had the gammon Comfy beds so comfy we overslept 😂

Stayed for nights for functions at the hawthorns which is a short walk away

Not a good experience , greeted at main entrance will many people smoking and smell of smoke was intense , lots of issues there

Really poor service

From checking in onwards I had a poor experience. On checking in it took a long time to be checked in. Despite of repeating several times he couldn’t see that he was looking at the wrong name. He then said I don’t have bc a reservation at the hotel and asked me again if I did make the reservation myself. Again I replied yes. I showed him the confirmation email and he still kept saying that I made a mistake. My wife and I was really getting stressed and confused. I then asked him to show me the name he was looking at…. He was looking at a different profile. Next day the shower was stuck at boiling set point and was not able to change. I went to reception to ask for assistance but I was told no one was available to help till Monday. So I asked what shall we do to have a shower ?? I was advised to go to the common leisure area and have a shower!! I booked a Privilege room 🙈. On Monday morning we went to have breakfast which we paid for and we challenged by the restaurant staff and asked us if we paid for the breakfast? We said yes we did !! However we were challenged again and told we haven’t. The manager then checked the system and confirmed we were right and we paid. We were so disappointed and embarrassed by this behaviour and scenario. There was no customer service or professionalism. This is my worst experience as a regular customer.
