We paid for a hotel where we could sleep , I thought that that was the whole point in hotels. I understand that it is located right on a busy road, so we closed the windows to keep out the noise, but there is no air conditioning , that made the rooms very uncomfortable. When we finally dropped off to sleep we were woken up in shock by the fire alarms . When we dropped off from that we were woken up by a lady shouting, House keeping, as she entered the rooms in the corridor she allowed the doors to slam behind her. The carpets in the rooms were filthy as was the bathroom floor. The staff on reception were friendly and helpful. I asked for the adjoining door between our rooms to be unlocked as we were a family of 4.

Every thing was perfect I would have liked a bit more time for check out plus I had to pay 8 pounds for car parking too

I cannot praise the staff enough at this hotel, they were professional, likeable and extremely helpful. There was nothing that they could that was an effort for them. I am truly sorry to be leaving this hotel, I doubt I would get the same excellent service elsewhere.

false fire alaem at 4am...

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. I do of course understand your frustration at being woken during the night. I know you will appreciate that the safety of our guests and staff is our highest priority, and all potential fire risks must be treated as serious, until staff are certain that there is no risk. All staff are regularly trained in fire evacuation procedures and evacuation information is displayed in guest bedrooms.
