Room was small but a good use of the space. It was clean and tidy and nice and modern. Check in was hassle free Only thing was that the information said there was bathroom toiletries but no Toothpaste.

Requested a quiet room and was allocated one on the 1st floor at the rear of the hotel. Unfortunately the 3 rooms in front of us had several girls partying in them and they were running in and out of each others rooms slamming doors. Upon leaving the hotel for the night out I asked if we could change rooms when we returned. The staff were aware of the noise that was being created and moved us upon our return without any fuss whatsoever. All staff were polite and helpful, much appreciated!

All was ok but it would have been better to have checked in ar 12 noon without having a £20 charge.

In regards to your comments about the check-in time, we have a check-in time of 2pm as on many days of the week we have a full hotel and with a check-out time of 12pm our housekeeping team can often only have a few hours to clean a lot of bedrooms. However we are happy to store your luggage at no extra charge until your room is ready, so that you can begin to enjoy your visit to Birmingham without restriction. For those guests who would like to guarantee a room to be available earlier for their arrival, we do offer an early check-in between 9am and 2pm for the additional charge of £20.00 per room. This is my third stay with you in Birmingham. The hotel is basically fine, convenient for my purposes and the staff are very friendly and helpful. However the room was noisy, the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, the door to the bathroom didn't fit properly and dinner on Friday night was awful. Will definitely be considering my options next time I'm in Birmingham.

Reception, accommodation generally fine. The fan heater (Room 108) did not work very well resulting in a cold environment. As I had business locally and there are no local restaurants or cafés I had the IBIS breakfast which was a mistake unless you like food which has sat there for goodness-knows how long.

Check In & Out was quick and easy. The room was really clean on arrival and I would stay here again. The only thing I would suggest would be more security on an evening - as when we returned at 10.30pm the main door was open which was fine but you did not need a Room Key to access a lift / floor meaning anyone could access this.

We do recruit a security company on most days during the week, however we have a hotel security policy for the rest of the days.This policy is for every night the hotel gates to be closed at around 11pm. On arrival our team will check the room number and the names of the registered guests in order to give them access to the hotel rooms. If there are any unregistered guests, they will be not allowed to get into the hotel after 11pm. Use Bordesley Circus quite regularly reception staff always welcoming, rooms clean & comfortable

In regards to your comments about the hot water supply, an emergency works were required to repair one of the hotel’s hot water pipes. This temporarily interrupted the hot water supply to the hotel rooms between 10am and 1pm. We informed all arrivals for the day in advance, but I am afraid that your booking was done on the morning so we could not give you an earlier notice about the matter. We truly apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding of the urgent nature of this issue. Unfortunately, this was a matter out of the hotel’s control, and we do appreciate our guests’ patience when staying with us. Thank you once again for sharing your experience.
