when we went to the room we found the ac was not working. when we repost the Staff Hardip help to change the room within 30 minutes. staff at break fast room was fantastic and nice food as well.

Purchased through Groupon at a very good price so didn't have any expectations to live up to, wasn't disappointed as it pretty much didn't live up to any anyway. I know we are in very uncertain and unusual times with COVID 19 so it could be for that reason that our stay was just, well, not very enjoyable. Hotel was easy to find and great that it had free parking. Noisy, due to our room being at eye level and less than 75 yards from flyover of the M5 motorway! Room and bed a decent size with a good bathroom & shower but pillows very lumpy (Which was odd) so made it difficult to sleep. Evening meal OK, not gourmet food by a long shot but edible. Gentleman in bar/restaurant was very helpful and friendly. Staff as a whole were friendly and efficient. The main disconcerting thing throughout our stay was that people just didn't wear face coverings (Not one of them had exempt lanyards), walking through the hotel, even when getting food from the breakfast buffet (Food very good and plentiful). Even staff members had it under their chin or with their nose exposed! Nothing was policed... I thought, at the time we stayed (29th/30th May), that face coverings were still mandatory in indoor hospitality/retail settings? Clearly in Birmingham, this is not the case. Ethnic minorities have been one of the biggest casualties of the pandemic and after visiting your hotel, I can actually see why, due to blatant disregard of a simple task like wearing a face covering. I protected other guests by wearing a face covering, why can they not afford the same courtesy towards my partner and myself? Visited the Bullring shopping centre, this was exactly the same! Hundreds of people in and out of shops (Again, mainly ethnic minorities), no sanitising/no face masks and again no exempt lanyards... And then they complain that we go into lock down!! The hotel may be different in 'normal' times, but it is highly unlikely we will be returning.

Stayed for three nights whilst attending a course. The hotel had a nice vibe, attentive staff, nicely decorated rooms and very accommodating of a vegan diet!

We were made to feel welcome from the start through to when we left. Communication was great, our food was really tasty and the shower was hot and powerful. Given the price we paid, it was even better! I've stayed here twice now and would definitely recommend it.

staff all super helpful and polite. rooms are decent and any issues were dealt with very efficiently! very comfortable after they came to our rescue with a last minute booking at 9:30pm after we had checked in to the hotel opposite and found it disgusting and in need of somewhere else asap!

Noise pollution from outside the hotel in adjacent car park Requested Tea bags and this was ignored Requested an upgrade as a member of ibis, this was not fulfilled Ordered vegetarian breakfast and received pork sausage and actually bit into it and was nearly sick This should have been documented really and I think the least you could do is offer me a free stay or vouchers or something. I did expect a call after requesting a manager call me. This request was also ignored Very very disappointed

Can’t fault my stay as usual all the staff are always so friendly and the hotel is always so clean. The breakfast included with the room is very good for the money and collecting from the reception is very quick and easy

Thanks to Jack for making sure everything about our stay was perfect. Going above and beyond and even helped me carry my pizza to my room as I almost dropped it, fetched us glasses for drinks in the room and got some ice for us :) will definitely be returning.
