For the amount being charged, the rooms were much smaller than othe Mercure rooms I've stayed in Bathroom was cramped (I hit the toilet roll holder so many times as it's in the way of the toilet when sitting) Stained and marks in the bathroom Hallway was stained and dirty Bed was nice an comfortable I expected this from a travel lodge/Ibis Budget (without the extra stuff). The standard room in Sheffield felt better than the privilege room here)

We stay regularly at this hotel. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The hotel is always clean and tidy. Breakfast is good with a wide selection. Marita on the front desk was extremely helpful.

So called double room, smallest have been in for some time. Storage poor, no drawers or cupboards for clothes with just a rail (with 4 hangers) for jackets etc. And just 1 chair. Shower room was very good, though only 1 glass supplied! Meals were good which helped raise my score. Very handy for motorways and city centre.

- The rooms are nicely decorated; - the bathroom shower only had a rain shower head and no handheld unfortunately; - reception staff were very friendly & helpful; - breakfast was not the best quality nor best choice unfortunately - plenty of parking

The rooms were very comfortable. The king rooms have a nespresso machine which was a bonus. There were ample refills for tea/coffee for room available at front desk. There was ample parking for hotel guests. The breakfast was well laid out and hot. The staff were accommodating to cook the mushrooms differently than offered for my daughter. Minor issue, I am confident that is only an exception, was unavailability of WiFi. Something was broken, and was not fixed through our stay. Otherwise an excellent experience.
