The hotel staff were absolutely fantastic. The gentleman on reception who checked our work group in on Tuesday 14th about 5pm and on Thursday 16th was outstanding and went far and beyond to accomodate each individual preferences. He was extremely patient and understanding when there was a problem with one of the bookings, and took the time to resolve it. The other gentleman on reception on the 15th was equally brilliant in getting our takeaway breakfast at 5.30am and switching on the coffee machine for us to have coffee and offering extra coffee to take with us. Mairita on checking out day was brilliant, she dealt with my car park concerns professionally and with empathy...and with a smile. Hotel restaurant food was good and well priced. The only downside to the hotel was the terrible hotel WIFI quality, as had no Internet connection in my room and lack of mobile reception on couple of networks.

Every time I visit the Mercure Birmingham West the staff are all so friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to ensure that our meeting bookings run smoothly every week. The hotel is modern, has great facilities, is well maintained and is kept clean and tidy. The bar and lounge areas are great places to network with other business professionals. The hotel offers large event spaces and would be a great choice to host any kind of function. There is also onsite parking that comes in handy.
