The atmosphere in the bar and restaurant was great, all the staff were really lovely and approachable, couldn't of been more helpful. The room we had was a superior double and lovely and clean with everything you need for a nice stay. We used the spa facilities which were nice when in there, again staff were lovely. The only things to note for us were the lockers in the womens changing rooms were not very good, several broken/out of use, we were told some were used by staff as well which wasn't good when they were not enough for all guests. The other thing was general decor around the corridors between rooms/walking to the spa - old carpets, scratched walls, could do with some updating. Overall though a lovely experience and great food and service throughout!

We had an excellent time when we attended the British Dressage Ball, We were lucky with our fabulous room too. We even had a coffee machine!! It would have been nice though to have some 'proper' milk as we had a mini fridge in the room.
