Disappointed. I book on-line thru ALL two weeks before and I received confirmation email of my booking. (two days before I got on my email that I can check in on line) When I reach hotel after 3 hours traveling from Amman to Petra security staff on entrance gate told me that hotel was closed. Without previous information or explanation they send me to Movenpick Resort Petra. With special reason I book Nabatean Castle so I didn't want to go somewhere else. Just apology from Movenpick Resort Petra was not enough for me.

We had a great 3 Night stay at Nabatean castle. It’s away from the main Petra town wadi musa, hence very quiet and relaxing. We had a great room with sunset view and enjoyed their hospitality as well as food.

Because of the ac system to only be on heating for winter, the weather outside wasn't cold and I had to turn off the heating and still my room was hot, the room temperature was between 26 to 27 degrees and the Sun was burning hot outside so I had to keep the balcony door open and risk having mosquitoes and other insects from entering the room. There were mosquitoes in my room due to leaving the door open. I complained a lot about the hot room and the staff ended up bringing me a fan that only worked once then stopped working. I didn't talk again to the staff about this because obviously they had no solutions. Other than the heat, the room was fine but I always had to order extra paper cups. The breakfast buffet doesn't offer much variety, the same limited types of food every day. The chef doesn't know how to not burn my omelet, first time I ordered it, it was burnt, second day, I requested he doesn't over fry it and it came up more burnt than the previous day so I didn't finish it and I didn't order an omelet on the third day. Overall, it was a 3 stars hotel breakfast. Good thing my employer are the ones paying for the stay because based on my experience, I won't pay from my own money to stay at this hotel.

Check-in is smooth. Staffs are very kind and attentive, both in the receptionist and restaurant. Services are excellent. Location is also super! Although is a bit far from city but I like it more better because it’s quiet and away from all city noises.
