The staff is genuinely kind and did their best to accommodate the issues we experienced but overall the property needs a lot of attention. I had to switch rooms three times in one day, and missed an important engagement. The shower had mold in it, the beds were uncomfortable. There is a drainage problem in the initial room (102) and lots of electricity issues, including outlets that did not work, power surges and broken lights. In room 112 the security lock had been removed from the door up top and the safety lock at the bottom of the door didn’t work. I am aware that the hotel is undergoing renovations, but for the price of the stay- the expectations were not met. I will be staying at a newer property the next time I come to visit.

A truly wonderful experience at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel Accra. I cannot thank the staff enough for their generous hospitality. From the reception desk staff to the hotel porters and especially the restaurant staff team. They were all exceptional. The moment I arrived I had already made new friends. I would list all their names, but I wouldn’t want to accidentally forget anyone. They all went above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble. The loveliest staff I’ve experienced at a hotel - and I’ve stayed at many hotels internationally! I will definitely be staying at the Movenpick Ambassador hotel again because of all of them. Brilliant team. 5 star service

I didnt like some of the people i asked for water in the lobby, and was told "It's water in your room" my air was not good my whole stay there.
