My stay with you from Oct 5th thru Nov 7th thus far has been excellent. As an innkeeper on Nantucket Island, 30 miles off the coast of Massachusetts. When I travel I like to stay at a Four Seasons property. I feel you are representing your corporation 100 percent positively. My room is spotless and well appointed. Your grounds are so lovely, offering shade, grass, the pool. It feels like home. Now I will tell you that your breakfast food is delicious. I did find the servers most forgetful, and I cannot get a decent cappuccino. It’s very thick and the color of pink milk. But this is not a problem for me. As a general manager of 90 rooms in 6 antique buildings with every modern convenience, I find it odd that cappachino is quite hard to make. I love the room service. The food comes well prepared, hot or cold as desired. And room service makes a GREAT cuppochino which I cannot spell. I could not help but notice how well your events are handled. Most professional. Great location, very fair price points. Rita at the pool bar is excellent. As is Felix at the front desk. I had an issue: I called to inform my 4 credit card affiliates that I would be traveling in Ghana. Well, this did not get through and my cards were refused, expected theft? I was embarrassed and exhausted. Felix was superb and patient as I made calls to get the credit cards working. You have no idea what comfort he gave me after being en route for 18 hrs.

Dear Accor Hotels I want to start this email of by saying I am shocked and highly disappointed at the treatment and poor service of my stay at Movenpick accra. To pay $207 a NIGHT to then. Experience poor service & lies is an insult especially in this period when due to the global pandemic every penny you spend has to be strategic and I choose Movenpick Over all other hotels in Ghana even the cheaper ones. Before I left London to come to Ghana, I called the hotel to enquire about the shuttle bus, I was told there will be a shuttle bus available or Movenpick guests at the airport so there was no need to take a taxi . I landed at in Kotoka airport and ended up waiting an HOUR for this bus with a Movenpick employee telling me every 10minutes that the bus was coming after 45-50 minutes I became frustrated calling the hotel at the same time asking the staff when the bus was coming the staff member lashed out with the duty manager on the phone pretending was didn’t hear what was being said in the background, to add insult to injury I arrived at the hotel spoke to the duty manager Christopher who assured me he will get back to me, the day after I requested before I left the room my sheets be changed as they were dirty around 4pm I came back home at 11pm nothing was changed I was furious and made a complaint to an employee called Alpha, one of the worst nights sleep I have had in a long time I had to wait for someone to come and change my sheets and the Porter ended up coming twice. Christopher got back to me two days later telling me I had to book a shuttle bus and that’s why the shuttle bus took so long, after sternly telling him I was told before I left London of the process by a colleague he offered me a complementary dinner I declined I stressed about my bed sheets he said there was no porters after 7pm telling him that I requested it before 7pm he then said he will get the marketing manager to speak to me. RIDICULOUS !!!! I tried to call customer service and had no luck always being on hold for a long time. I am not happy with the service I’m not happy with the lack of sleep I had for the past 3/4 days which has led my trip to be a misery. I’ve stayed at Movenpick on a number of occasions and never experienced such. On the weekend I didn’t stay in the hotel and came back to check out on the Monday

An impressive hotel, happily situated in the heart of Accra and within easy distance of the airport. The bedroom and bathroom decor was tasteful and sophisticated and the amenities were of a high quality. An easy enhancement would be the addition of guest slippers and bathrobe to elevate the overall experience. The staff were professional, pleasant and helpful and the buffet variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant was a tasty combination of local and International dishes. The room service menu was limited to a predominately Italian palette, however there was the opportunity to select and have lunch and dinner buffet for in-room dining. Would recommend and stay again.

Overnight and rush with the UNHAS/WFP Humanitarian flight, therefore, not able to enjoy much. The breakfast was enjoyable though, sorry I had to rush and not able to truly have a good breakfast.

I have stayed in the Movenpick in Accra a few times now and it has proven to be a great experience every time. It is based right in the middle of Accra so is a good base for getting around. I have stayed there for business and it is perfect for that. Internet is very fast, there is a nice desk in the room to do work and it is very clean. The breakfast buffet is top of the range with plenty of choice and the staff especially are so nice and friendly and do an exceptional job. There is also a lovely bar and lobby area to relax in the evenings.

In general all good, friendly staff, good rooms, well maintained hotel. A few snags: I had requested the shuttle service upon arrival (and even confirmed on the day of my arrival with a response that all was in order), but there was nobody waiting for my upon arrival at the airport. One of the resps from another hotel kindly called for me to tell the hotel that I was waiting. This was a prepaid stay, part;ly paid with my points. The hotel's system did not show the points. Although my reservation confirmation stated that I did not have to pay anything at the hotel, it seems that the remaining amount had not been charged to my credit card (yet), so that there was still an amount to pay. The reception staff resolved this all in a kind and understanding manner (and it was not their fault at all of course), but I did not expect to spend quite a bit of time dealing with admin. It was also good that I had the documentation with me.
