My wife and I stayed 6 nights, arriving by their transfer van before noon(an attendant called the hotel from the ibis sign out front of airport arrivals). A nice receptionist copied our passports, took our payment, then presented our key cards and we took one of the elevators to the 6th floor. Room #623 was tiled and clean with a fully outfitted bathroom with tile rain shower, closet with hotpot & minibar, desk and chair, easy chair, comfortable queen across a medium sized TV(Africa News, BBC, Discovery, NG Wild, Super Sports & more). Good lighting, wifi & outlets and a window view of Marina Mall, airport, new offices & uncompleted concrete shells. Bottled water machines provided in each hall. 250m N is the Marina Mall(ATMs, excellent supermarket, small food court) & a bit farther to the new KFC/Shell. The 6AM breakfast buffet was outstanding and nicely serviced: many fresh fruits & juices, custom egg station, hot dishes(bacon, scrambled eggs, crepes & more), muesli with soy milk, ham/turkey/cheeses, many breads, cakes & croissants & good coffee/hot milk. We did not use the small pool but I used the adjacent new 4 station gym. Overall, a well managed hotel with larger upgraded rooms compared to the standard ibis.

Entry and exit of cars should be flipped around. Also people should be allowed to walk in whatever direction they choose. Security was particular about where people walked and I got into a back and forth about it. You pay about $100 a night to stay there but when you walk outside, you have to be escorted and told where to walk etc. it’s plain silly. This is as irritating enough that I won’t be staying there again.

Had to change rooms because of noisy aircon. Rooms have plastic soap dispensers that are broken and then difficult to use. Hair drier was broken. On the positive side - room was clean and bed was good. Breakfast was really good.
