On arrival, I informed the front desk of items I left on my previous stay some weeks ago, I actually told a friend who works for GTBank to follow up for me by calling the Hotel, these items were my grey glove sponge and my blue soap dish, never got a feedback until i mentioned it on check-out. I must also state here that one of your front desk staff treated me rather unprofessionally and badly. Situation was with late check-out when I was informed that I could join the Shuttle to the Airport on the hour for my BA flight at night. I proceeded to run several very important errands during the day including visits to the Bank and Ghana Card office, unfortunately the traffic was terribly bad this day and I just managed to return around 5pm. I spoke with the reception on the situation and proceeded to take a quick shower and pack my bags, was back around 6pm. The front desk staff was very angry and raised her voice to scold me like a child for failing to pay for late check out, this I find highly unprofessional, and I did reminded her that hospitality business is a special kind of business where the customer is always right, as long as you can nicely separate him from His money after provision of great service. Otherwise, the Hotel is great, lots of friendly and nice employees, and as a member of Accor Hotels group, my family and I have stayed in several Ibis all over the world, including Paris, Switzerland, Bangkok, etc. and with no incidence. I will surely recommend Ibis to friends and family for clean environment, friendly personnel, and value for money.
