Positives: Beautiful grounds, well kept Great staff Rooms and all are was are super clean Average: Food, not poor, not great. Some good dishes among lots of average but decent food Poor: The whole hotel is in desperate need of an upgrade, rooms are very dated, especially the bathrooms. Matresses are pain inducing. Loungers on the beach are useless as the the upper part can hardly be changed Pools are tiny and not deep enough which makes swimming impossible Cocktails and coffee are just about drinkable. Dining hall has mismatched chairs and tables, weirdly high seat for the tables. Also very dated and esp at dinner it gets very uncomfortable

The Hotel becomes old in every thing, facilities, staff, food.

We loved the location right by the sea with wonderful views from every direction. Also nowhere was crowded and we could find a lovely place to relax every day. The gardens were so well tended and a riot of colour. Our room was very comfortable, good beds and bedding. Also a mention to all the staff, so welcoming and smiling.

Movenpick is a very good hotel in Elgouna. Good price and very good food. Location is nice, more than one pool and lagoons. Walking distance from downtown and the rooms are nice and clean. Thank you

The staff was perfect but the facility is not that good . Terrace for an example was invaded by a cat that is difficult to deal with . The food in om Kothoum restaurant was not delicious very average . The food in the main restaurant was of limited options we visited to explore and did not find it worth trial . The pool was not heated and it's depth is not convenient for swimming .

While we are delighted to read your kind words about our team, it is disappointing to learn that other aspects of your visit did not meet your expectations. Regarding the cat on your terrace, please accept our apologies. The cats occasionally enter the resort area from outside, as El Gouna is an open destination. Our team does its best to manage this situation discreetly and humanely, and we regret any disturbance this may have caused during your stay. We are also sorry that the dining experience at both Om Kalthoum Restaurant and the main restaurant did not fully satisfy your expectations. Your comments regarding variety and taste are taken seriously and will be shared with our culinary team for review and improvement. Concerning the pools, please allow us to clarify that two of our three pools are heated during the cooler season. We regret if this information was not clearly communicated. With regard to the pool depth, we understand that preferences vary depending on whether guests wish to relax or swim more actively. We appreciate your positive note regarding our sustainability efforts, particularly our water initiative. At the same time, we regret that the water taste did not fully meet your expectations and will continue to review this aspect carefully.
