This hotel did not have effective air conditioning. They did not respond to requests for towels or a fan until requested multiple times. The breakfast buffet was good but the dinner was not good and was inconsistent from one night to another. I would not recommend this hotel.

Great location, great room & breakfast, nothing was wanting. I was positively surprised by the welcome present in my room (some artisanal chocolates). The reception staff were very professional and welcoming as every time!

Hotel staff spend your money without your permission

Only stay in this hotel if you are happy for hotel staff to incur large expenses on your behalf without your consent. My family stayed at this hotel for four nights in July 2023. On the first morning we enquired about getting some laundry done and were advised by reception that we could and were provided with some laundry bags. We got back to reception with our three bags of laundry prior to 10.00 am, but because there was a large queue at reception, our laundry was not handed to reception until about 10.10 am. As we were staying for four nights we were not concerned about getting our laundry back quickly and there was no discussion about a same day service. On checkout we were charged a 100 per cent supplement on the cost of our laundry as we had received a 'same day service'. We challenged this as we had neither requested or needed a same day service. Apparently the reception staff we delivered our laundry to requested same day service without our consent or agreement. We were advised that there was nothing reception staff could do and we should email the hotel and request reimbursement. As we were under time pressure to catch a train, we had no alternative but to pay and contact the hotel later. I have subsequently emailed the hotel attaching copies of all documentation, but have received no response or acknowledgement. This is clearly unacceptable and serves as a cautionary tale to anyone thinking of staying here.

Negatives: - The hotel staff were nice but there weren't enough people so it would sometimes take a while to talk to someone. - Our room had a funny smell. The layout was odd and not spacious. - There was also dried blood on the duvet (not the cover). The front desk acted appropriately when I told them. Positives: - The buffet breakfast was very good. Lots of options. - Close to the metro.

This was my first time in a Mövenpick hotel and I enjoyed it. Indeed, as it was the first time I was given a voucher for some of their branded ice cream which was a nice welcome alongside the normal Accor club things. The lady at reception who organised that was excellent at her job and particularly efficient and friendly. The room I received was very interesting architecturally, with a bath in the middle of it so it was possible to luxuriate while watching entertainment. Would recommend. Good location at an S-Bahn station too.
