Well-located hotel with convenient tram connections to the city center. Hotel provides quite extensive and varied breakfast. Rooms are comfortable and modern (managed on tablet available in your room). There were two disadvantages. Air-conditioning centrally operated by the hotel was set at the top high temperature. Therefore it was too hot in the room, although we closed the curtains in the afternoon (most of rooms face the western side). Therefore we recommend those who appreciate cool temperature in your room during summer, to look for the hotel with individually controlled air-con. The other disadvantage concerns TV available in your room which is streamed via Internet - it means low quality of signal and breaks in programs

We stayed for one night - taking the opportunity to walk about 20 minutes to the old town. The hotel is pet friendly, though we paid a 10 Euro charge for our pet. Staff were very friendly - both checking us in, as well as at the bar area where we were recommended a very good local wine and provided with some fruit even though the kitchen was closed. Staff also entertained our dog - and gave him some food as well.

I chose Mercure for my short stay due to two main reasons. Being pet friendly and also having an electric car charging station, making it more convenient to hit the road next day without wasting extra time to charge. The staff was extremely helpful and easy going which made the experience ten times better. The room was very nice as well.
