Overall a good experience. Rooms are small but nice. Air conditioner was noisy (room 507). Breakfast could be better (no better than at the Novotel Viña del Mar, which is considerably cheaper). The plates at the breakfast buffet were ridiculously small. Extraordinary service by the bartender on the roof terrace on the night of the 19th November. He was really outstanding - highlight of our stay.

Very good stay. As something positive, I left a sweatshirt in the room and they kept it for me to pick it up later. As something negative, when checking out I asked them to send me the payment receipt by email, which did not happen and forced me to write to request it.

Ridoculous check in/out spoils a good hotel

The hotel is good value as such and location is excellent. But the front desk operations is from stone age. Check in or out takes a lot of time, causing queues. It feels like nobody from the hotel management have never benchmarked modern hotels, in Europe for instance. The reservation contains all the info needed to get the person in. The pre-payment and automatic invoice to email box should be available for just leaving the key when leaving the hotel. These are only examples. Many business frequent traveller 'musts' that other hotels have are missing.

I love the functional, uncomplicated design of the suites, very comfortable. The location is excellent. But there were a few things: my towel and floor mat were removed and not replaced which meant that I had to use the other set of towels and thus have more stuff washed. It beats the well intentioned "help us save the planet" sign. Also not good for "saving the planet" was the fact that hot water took ages to flow. Lastly, there were a few communication problems between the front desk and the restaurant.
