The hotel is rated 5 star but actually corresponds to a European 4 star hotel. Some examples: no tissues/paper hankies in the bathroom, no shaving mirror or weighing scales, two 330cl bottles of water and two coffee capsules in room on check in, none the next day and on enquiry informed by staff that after day one this had to be paid for. As Gold Card member found check in experience to be slow and not welcoming. Breakfast was good but a little chaotic. Enough staff but not proactive in checking when no hot water or other breakfast items needed replenishment. In general staff could benefit from training and learning to be more customer centric. Just spent a night in Santiago in the Hotel Singular and the contrast was amazing. I would not hesitate to book the Singular again.

Very well kept and clean hotel. Staff was always friendly and helpful. The rooms were immaculate. Housekeeping came every day. They were so polite and kind and made our rooms beautiful. The location is amazing. Right on the beach there’s lots of places to eat right around the restaurant. We felt safe at all times walking in the neighborhood around the hotel and along the beach.

I checked out of the hotel at noon and returned two hours later asking about my original iPhone 16 charger, which I had left plugged in under the window desk. The room had already been cleaned, and the charger was nowhere to be found, though I'm 100% sure it was there. This shows that the hotel's security leaves much to be desired, and be careful about leaving valuables in plain sight in your room. temas de seguridad: dejé el hotel a las 12 del día (check out) y volví a las dos horas preguntando por mi cargador iphone 16 original que se me había quedad enchufado debajo del escritorio de la ventana. La pieza ya había sido aseada y no había aparecido el cargador, el cual estoy 100% segura que quedó ahí. Esto da cuenta que la seguridad del hotel deja mucho que desear y cuidado con dejar cosas de valor a la vista en la pieza.

The hotel's location can't be beat. Walking distance to excellent restaurants, bakeries, shopping, beaches and parks. The renovation was done tastefully, but this hotel clearly has the same plumbing issues many Viña del Mar hotels and apartments have. The shower pan was poorly leveled, so I had to take short showers or the water would run off into the hallway. The toilet either kept running or would randomly flush itself in the middle of the night. The shower would turn itself on randomly at night and loudly leak. Sewage smells came from the sink drain at night as well. Very unsettling. The quality of customer service from hotel and restaurant staff was pretty inconsistent, ranging from excellent to comically bad. They ask for towels to be reused but there are not enough hangers to really dry them. Upon arrival there were no hand towels. They showed up the next morning. The customer service at the upstairs bar was particularly terrible and chaotic, with random servers coming by the table not knowing who and what had ordered what, or completely neglecting me. Front desk and cleaning staff were super nice and helpful. Overall, the issues don't warrant the star rating of the hotel, but the location, while noisy, is truly unbeatable. Maybe they will do a plumbing overhaul and then it will be a truly excellent place to stay in Viña.

Absolutely not worth the money they charge. Our room was quite run down. I booked the room with the spa for the end of our journey so I could relax but the spa jets were full of rust and old soap scum so didn’t bother. Oh and BRING EAR PLUGS! The windows are not even close to being sound proof and it’s a very very busy street at all hours of the night for drag racing and bikes!! The coffee pods were missing so we went and bought some ourselves and no one even tries to help us navigate espanol (as we’re Australian) - they were even quite rude to us when they realised we only spoke a little bit. While I understand that frustration of non-native speakers, I would have expected a little English speaking from some of them to help their tourists out. Won’t go back.
