very bad breakfast. During the night the room was opened, I reported in the morning what had happened, and they told me by mistake that a person from the hotel went to see the room, very bad, it had never happened to me in an IBIS.

Centrally located on the “flat” of Valparaiso

While close to the train to Viña, the port and main plaza of Valparaiso, the flat part of Valparaiso is less interesting than the hills and, seemingly, more dangerous. The large security fence at the entrance of the hotel is off-putting but apparently necessary and serves to make visitors more aware of their surroundings. The hotel itself was comfortable enough but the room was constantly hot and the air didn’t seem to work that well. I didn’t like the sound centrally placed overhead shower head that dispersed water all over the place and left no option than to wet your hair whilst still not being able to direct water to any specific part of your body, and the additionally condensation dripping from the roof wasn’t pleasant. Breakfast was good with a great range of options on the buffet.

Not Clean - Best Western for a lower price was not cleaner.

I agree with some comments - Good location right on port and metro station. Walking distance to the El Peral funicular, boat trips, Plaza Sotomayor, Right next to a supermarket and restaurants nearby. Hotel is very basic - one bath towel and one bath mat provided per person, no glasses, no frig, one bottle of all-in-one shampoo/soap dispenser at sink and in shower. Staff were not helpful, we reported the toilet is full of urine and not clean. The front desk staff said it is water flow from upstairs :( . Breakfast was not good.
