My husband, myself and two friends spent 10 days at The Pullman, Khao Lak. We had an absolutely wonderful time and would recommend to potential travellers. The atmosphere, food, accommodation and most importantly, the staff, were all amazing. The general manager, Maverik Mukherjee, walked around chatting to guests to get feedback and to check everything was good. This is very unusual and went a long way to making us feel heard and valued. If I had to have a comment on any potential issue it would be the tiles throughout can be very slippery when wet. This resort is about 1 1/2hr drive from the airport.

Ambivalent about our stay, rooms were large bed comfortable but housekeeping was appalling. Same dust in toilet area for 10 days and we had to contact for towels, coffee etc numerous times. Often room not done till after 4 pm. Biggest issue was lack of communication, a few days into stay they began renovating 3 rooms in our corridor ( we and our travel companions were only ones in this corridor) and the smell of paint not to mention trip hazards with sheets all over corridor floor. We were not told about or offered to relocate at any stage Food was ok but extremely repetitive and not as described on weekly menu schedule

I came to the hotel during my birthday and I didn’t expect anything thing except comfy hotel for relaxing. But after I checked in, I felt that the hotel really care their guests; many activities to do, friendly staffs and excellent breakfast. Moreover, I got an expected surprise for my birthday. The step from the bedroom to the bathroom is inconvenient and dangerous. The lighting ( wiring) has to be reviewed as there is no soft night light which can provide light to navigate safely to the toilet at night. The plumbing needs modernisation. There is barely enough coffee. Tea and coffee mate for a 7 night stay. The towels are old and should be replaced. The walls are bare and not decorated with at leat a wall janging or framed picture. The cuisine is very much the same every day. .

Large and comfortable room with a quiet air conditioner, fast hot water, a comfortable bed, and a spacious balcony overlooking the extensive swimming pool. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The cocktails were colourful and attractively presented, although they were on the lighter side.

I choosed the hotel because it offered a large room that was perfect for me and my family. I’ve been to Khao Lak before so the location was good for us. We enjoyed the pools - amazing pool in the villa and also the main hotel pool, the spa, gym and the general quiet and calm atmosphere in the hotel. We were not aware to the beach condition and that we could not get into the water, but that didn’t bother us. We like the food as well - we stayed on bed at breakfast and we had some lunch and dinner in the beach club. The one thing I can say is that food was delicious but from limited options to choose from. We really missed Thai cuisine options. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, cleaning service was excellent. Overall we had great time and I will recommend the hotel.

We enjoy the room on the first floor very much and large room for 5 people, have space for everyone. I can’t say staffs are friendly, I have seen better from the gardener to front office and breakfast staffs, should smile and greet more like sawasdee ka..should have been a normal practice. When we checked in, which was not very busy at around 5 pm in August low season, we have to ask for welcome drinks. But overall we enjoyed it. And the hotel policy of saving water and environment, we like it.

A most enjoyable week doing very little. Great pool with swim up bar, well kept premises with generous sized rooms. We had all inclusive package which made the experience great value for money! Lovely, friendly staff. Look forward to returning one day.

Really disappointed with this luxury escape deal. Unorganised, same menu everyday for inclusive and if you eat outside the boundaries you are charged, what a joke. Buffet disgusting.

I was very satisfied with the hotel overall, including its facilities and general service. However, I believe there is still room for improvement in how Asian guests are treated and supported in communication. Not every guest can speak English fluently. English is simply a tool for communication, not a measure of a person's intelligence, status, or worth, and it should never be treated as a source of power or authority. As an international hotel, I hope you will continue to provide staff training on cultural awareness and respect for guests from different countries and backgrounds. When a guest is not comfortable speaking English, staff should show patience, use simple language, or utilize translation tools when necessary. True international hospitality means treating every guest with the same level of respect, regardless of their English ability or nationality. I hope the hotel will continue to strengthen its training and create an environment where all Asian guests, as well as guests from every part of the world, feel equally respected and welcomed.
