Took so long time waiting for my room. I was at the resort around 2.30 pm. I was allowed to get in the 1st room at 16.30 and 2nd room at 17.30.

Friendly resort great for all ages, just be prepared to spend time travelling for activities and shopping, theme nights at Buffett could improve eg italian had two very basic pastas, a lasagna and one pizza, also themes as advertised around the resort and on app not all correct. More info on local area and the places the shuttles are available to would be great, overall loved our stay

Unlike our previous stay, we decided to give the hotel another chance this time. We also brought our friends along, hoping to give them the opportunity to experience and appreciate Pullman for themselves. Approximately four to five months before our arrival, we had already informed the hotel by email of our preferences and expectations for this stay. However, the experience we received was as if we had never communicated our requests at all. We are extremely disappointed with this stay, more so than we can express in words. What makes this experience even more upsetting is the way we were treated by Ms. Lisa, which left us feeling that the interaction was insincere and that our concerns were not handled with genuine care. We returned with the hope of having a better experience and rebuilding our confidence in the hotel. Unfortunately, this stay has left us deeply disappointed and has made us question whether giving the hotel a second chance was the right decision. We stayed at the hotel for four days and three nights, yet not a single person seemed to acknowledge the issues we had experienced since the very first day. Throughout our stay, we felt that no one genuinely took the time to understand our concerns or make a sincere effort to resolve the problems we encountered. The way this situation was handled clearly gave us the impression that our concerns were not taken seriously and that our experience as guests was not a priority for the hotel. What disappoints us most is not simply that problems occurred, but that we were left feeling that no one truly cared enough to understand our situation and make things right. This lack of genuine concern and attention has made our overall experience extremely disappointing.

We have had a great time at the hotel, the private pool room was wonderful and provided us with the perfect amount of privacy. The hotel facilities were excellent, we really enjoyed being there. The breakfast was good. The only major downside was the beachfront restaurant, we’ve had 2 dinners there before ultimately deciding not to come back again. And at the time of our stay it was the only restaurant that was open for lunch and dinner, there was no alternative. The kitchen was shockingly appalling, whether it was western cuisine or Thai, it was bad. For our first dinner we ordered oysters and a burger, while we were ordering, we were asked about the cooking level of the burger patty, we opted for “rare”. The burger was served cold and “well done”, we were looking at it sitting on the kitchen counter for 5-10 minutes. The oysters were inedible, seemingly rinsed with fresh water and then dried out. It was incredibly dry and chewy. I have never had such bad oysters before in my life, so I did not finish my meal. We were not charged for oysters, which we were pleasantly surprised with, so we decided to give the restaurant another chance. Next day we went with Thai cuisine, but left disappointed too. We asked for a Pad Thai not too spicy, the pad Thai served was not only not spicy, it had no peanuts and was very dry, lacking sauce and flavor. The hotel is located pretty far from everything, and at the time of our stay there, there were no other alternative places to eat, and driving 20+ minutes to Khao Lak just for food was not an option for us. We would have had no problem staying at Pullman again, if the food at the hotel’s restaurant was good, at least satisfactory, at least okay. But our experience was just… bad. And that leaves us disappointed, because we really did love the hotel, and would have loved to come back again, but the quality of food in the resort and the lack of alternatives around is stopping us. Living in Thailand and commuting all the time between Phuket and Ranong, staying in Khao Lak is a regular thing for us, and we would have been recurring guests if it wasn’t for the kitchen. The drastic difference between the sophisticated set up of the resort and the appalling food being served to us- was truly shocking. We genuinely hope that things change with the kitchen, and will be more than happy to be back once they do.

Everything was exctremly perfect and we (family of 4 members) were happy. The most we liked! Kids club allowed us to had time together with my wife. Please develop this service even futher! This is very vitaly important for parents. Also your dancer guide during early pool animation was emazing! He was so energizing. Thanks to him! To improve.. not sure if it is possible however. Very inconvinient electrical swiches system in rooms. Leaving the hotel we were still in confusion how to turn one light and how to switch off another one. So we always used master switch. For sure worked.. Air conditioner ... the fact that opened door to the balcony stops air conditioner should be written near the control block of conditioner as well as on the door of the balcony. Together with my wife we had been trying all the swithes in the room in attempt to turn on the air condirioner for 20 minutes )) It was funny. In general it's not that much of importance if everything else is ok! I would become annoying if it stands in the row with other issues. Thank you very much! Wish you all the best!

Neat and clean Friendly staff

Pullman Khao Lak is a wonderfull family friendly resort, rooms are large and well maintained the resort has large pool centrally located with water play areas for the kids, located on the beach is Kram restaurant ample seating areas and a small infinity pool. Staff are absolutely marvellous from the room attendants, breakfast team, reception team to bar stall to the ground staff they go over and beyond to make your stay that much more enjoyable. If looking for a quite family friendly holiday than would have no hesitation in recommending.

The service staff were also very courteous and thorough.

Great villa. Excellent Suze pool. Food was really good. Lots of choices. Buffet could have had more variations but still enjoyable.

I stayed in Room 5107 and had a wonderful experience throughout my stay. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed, and I really enjoyed having direct pool access and a bathtub. The property itself is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful beachfront setting and an amazing sunset view that made the stay even more memorable. I was also impressed with the activities and fitness facilities. There were plenty of options to enjoy during the stay, which added a lot to the overall resort experience. A special thank you to Khun Kathy, Khun Ness, Khun Hafi, and Khun Bari for taking such great care of me and ensuring that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you to the entire team for the wonderful hospitality. I truly enjoyed my stay and would be happy to return again!

Dear Hotel Management, I am writing to share feedback regarding my recent stay at your property. While I want to highlight that the frontline staff were pleasant and polite, the overall management and operational standards fell far below expectations, particularly when compared to other upscale hotels we have visited, such as Pullman. Upon our arrival by car, there was a noticeable lack of manpower and greeting service at the lobby. No staff members came forward to assist with our belongings, forcing us to unload our luggage ourselves. Furthermore, no one guided us through the check-in process, leaving us to figure it out on our own. We noticed only two staff members managing guest services at the front desk, which clearly caused major delays and a slow, impersonal arrival experience. Additionally, the breakfast experience was very disappointing. The quality was low, the food options were quite limited, and it did not match the standards we expected for this tier of hotel. It is unfortunate that the dedicated floor staff are being let down by poor management and severe understaffing. I hope you will take these matters seriously to improve your staffing levels, operational efficiency, and guest services.

Nicely appointed rooms. Beautiful pools. Food was nice but I didn’t like being told where to eat and it kept changing. Would be a much nicer experience if you could ear where and what you like and a just pay for anything above the included food and drinks. The system was silly and confusing with different coloured wrist bands designating where you were allowed to eat. Fabulous staff.

Was quite remote - too far to walk into town. Powerpoint in bathroom and downlight in living area was not working for the 7 days we were there. The room was quite dark without curtains open. With a large group or family there was nowhere to congregate inside when it was extremely hot, raining hard or very windy. Some free flowing drinks were not as per menu eg Black Russian was advertised as vodka and kahlua, but was actually vodka and coffee syrup. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The gardeners deserve a shoutout for the hard work they do in what must be some very trying conditions - full uniform in a dark colour out in the sun every day to keep everything looking great.

Family trip for my 60th, great place to chill and unwind

We had a wonderful 10 day stay really enjoy the resort and the spent a lot of time in the day spa. We booked all our Tours through the hotel which was so convenient. We also went into Khao Lak and the markets through the shuttle provided by the hotel for a small fee. Our room was lovely as we had upgraded. I think the most difficult thing we experience was that they were renovating above us and this started late afternoon and went through to the early hours of the morning. The last 3 nights before we flew out were horrible and we hardly slept, I think this probably needs to be looked at as I've seen a few comments of other guests saying the same thing. However despite this overall our stay was very relaxing and extremely enjoyable.

What stood out for us was the beautiful location, the warm and friendly service, and how well the resort caters to everyone — from kids to adults. There’s always something to enjoy. The **food was a real highlight** too — great variety and everything we tried was delicious. A special thank you to **Ms. Milk**, who was incredibly warm and helpful throughout our stay. Her personal attention really made us feel welcome. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely be happy to come back again. ❤️

I like the decor and the high ceiling and breakfast variaty. But I think a lot of things can be improved, e.g., old towels and not-cold air con.

My three-day holiday was incredible. The location was great, the food was very good, and the drinks by the pool were superb. The staff were also polite, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. However, I was not completely satisfied with the cleanliness of the room. From the first day, we noticed that one of the drinking glasses was not properly cleaned and still had lipstick marks around the rim. We also noticed some small cobwebs in the corner next to the safety box. Apart from these points, we really enjoyed our stay. Overall, we felt very happy and relaxed, and we would definitely come back in the future.
