A beautiful well maintained hotel, right on the beach, we had the pool access room which was fabulous, the buffet breakfast was great, lots of choices and a lovely breakfast room. The staff were wonderful and so friendly, nothing was too much trouble, Pam in the Green Mango restaurant was lovely. The area is a bit remote but we knew that, we wanted a quiet relaxing holiday. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to visit again one day.

The rooms and hotel environment were stunning, staff attentive & friendly. Swim up room was amazing, excellent air conditioning, comfortable bed. Very luxurious. Draw backs were main pool area was dominated by guests reserving lounges from early morning and many other guests missed out. If you dared move a towel when a cabana had been unoccupied for hours these people became hostile. A timed booking system could help solve this. Service at both Green Mango and the Soak Bar was very slow and language barriers meant incorrect food and or drinks were served or nothing arrived at all. Food at Green Mango was very expensive for what it was. On check out we had reception arrange a taxi for us from the resort to a hotel at Phuket airport. The driver spoke no english and he got lost taking us nearly all the way to Phuket City, he then yelled at us and made both myself and my husband feel very unsafe. We had no idea where we were. His driving was erratic and he mumbled and swore the whole trip. While this wasn’t the hotels fault, I think Mercure should ensure local private taxi drivers are safe for guests.

All Staff were amazing !! They were always friendly and happy to help. I found it was the little things that were lacking. Like a nightly turn down service, minimal nightly entertainment, and having to search for further information. The Breakfast buffet was lacking, it had very limited fresh fruit options.

Nice , neat and well maintained property. Wonderful and kind staff. One of best hotels we stayed so far. Breakfast was good, though bit less choice of fruits, breads, cakes etc., when compared to other 5star resorts. But absolutely good enough for us. Only black mark : There were a group of russian guests ( 3 - 4 couples) who were extremely loud and noisy near us. Especially late evenings in their pools. loud music. Sometimes even playing some loud russian anthem or war songs, even early mornings. Few times i was woken up by this. This was nerving !. But the hotel cannot be blamed for such unruly guests. Maybe the management can take some action how to avoid such guests 🙂. Other than this all was nice.
