We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Grand Mercure. The staff are amazing and we were looked after from the minute we arrived, until we left. Great location, rooms are spacious and the grounds are lovely.

Exceptional service with friendly staff that couldn’t do enough for you to make your stay incredible. The food was delicious and a great mix of traditional Thai with a few western options for a change. The rooms were gorgeous, the pool area stunning and location right on the beach provided options to use local restaurants as well as the brilliant facilities in the hotel. We visited a number of hotels nearby and this hotel was a league above. Fantastic all round value for money. Thank you Paul Smith and your team for a memorable holiday that was so relaxing and just what we needed (especially after coming from a far inferior hotel).

Our stay at the Grand Mercure Khao Lak Bangsak was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the resort felt like a tropical paradise. The grounds and gardens were pristine, beautifully maintained, and really captured the relaxed local Thai vibe. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. The service throughout our stay was faultless and truly made the experience even more memorable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and became a highlight of each day, with a fantastic variety and beautiful fresh options. The resort is also perfectly situated, close to local cafes, restaurants, massages, beautiful beaches, and other nearby amenities, making it easy to explore the area while still enjoying a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in a swim-up pool room, which was immaculately cleaned every day and very well designed and comfortable. It was the perfect place to unwind and relax. I would also highly recommend the spa, especially the Thai aromatic massage — an incredible experience and a must during your stay. The Green Mango restaurant was another standout, with beautiful food and a lovely atmosphere if you didn’t feel like heading out locally for dinner. This was our second stay at the resort, and once again we could not fault it at all. We absolutely loved everything about it and would happily stay again. Beautiful resort, tropical setting, outstanding staff — highly recommended.
