I just experienced worst checkin at a hotel reception I don’t usually like to name people in the reviews but in this case I have to booked a $550 room for a night stay arrived at the hotel at 2:30 where as my check in time was 2 pm claire at the reception desk told me our room was not ready and was unapologetic and asked me to go sit somewhere and come back in 30 and check if the room was ready been to many hotels never had some one yell at me I mentioned to her I called for a early check in she got more upset and in a very loud and embarrassing tone asked who did you talk you go sit somewhere not this is embarrassing experience ps it’s 15:00 I am yet to get my room writing this while sitting somewhere

Excellent service. Very clean and high end rooms. Loved the parking also. Perfect location. The indoor pool being heated made perfect for night swimming. The staff all very friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay with our two very young childern at Peppers.

this is the first time we stayed at the Peppers Soul and we were totally stunned at the view we saw from our 2 bed rooms high floor apartment. it is also well located with good restoraunt and shops underneath or closeby to the Hotel . We will definitely recommend the Hotel if visitors want good beach and ocean view . Breakfasts was good but some how the restaurant does not open everyday .

Long time checking in. Staff diligent with requests. Lifts take a long time around check in and check out. Rooms could do with a sanitiser spray a bit smelly when u first enter

We arrived early and collected a temp pass card for access to the parking lot which was appreciated. We waited by the pool until 2pm to check in. Our room wasn't ready. Manager swapped rooms around and we got into our room at 2.30pm. That night we needed to drive somewhere. Our room key wouldn't open the carpark gate, so had to spend minutes discussing with fella on intercom to be let out. Stopped to ask the parking valet about it and he said to go to reception and they will reprogram. Didn't have time then, so did that when we got back. Parked and went up to reception. Lady checked the key and said was showing ok, and after speaking a bit more realised that because had used temp key to get in, then this key didn't recognise that we had entered, and that the fix was to get out of car and 'key in' so could key out - makes sense, but you should know this and advise this. Key worked to get back into carpark. Next morning coming back from breakfast we couldn't get into side door with key so went through main door. Only 1 elevator working which was same as day previous, but at this time of morning was busy. Upon entering elevator could not get access to the key card scanner due to amount of people crammed in. Once a few people left I attempted to scan and wouldn't work, so now we are along for the ride, and it was a long one. Starting at floor 39, the elevator stopped at almost every floor and it was full after the first few. It was a 10minute+ ride back down, in a crammed elevator. Went to reception and they fixed the key. Waited for the elevator again to go back up to our room to pack for check out. Arrived back at room @ 9.35. Sitting down trying to relax from the ordeal, at 9.40 there was knock on the door from house keeping asking when our checkout was! Checkout is the same time for everyone FFS, and they continued to wait outside our door making us feel like it was an inconvenience for us to still be there. Considering we didn't get into our room until 30mins after check in it leaves a bad taste. Further to that, it's not like housekeeping is doing anymore than the bare minimum as the dust level in 'out of sight' areas was, well not out of sight anymore as was caked on. Walking to our car as we got closer to it (was parked on back wall furthest away from lifts), the smell became unbearable to the point we all started dry reaching and had to run to the car. 10-20 more seconds and we would've probably thrown up. This was the case for a few other people we could see visibly distressed getting to their cars also. Leaving carpark to the boom gate, and you guessed it, key card doesn't work. My wife got out and scanned it in and then it worked to get out. She also did it for someone else trying to get out who was appreciative, because they didn't know to do that either. So I ask you this, given that we paid $800+ for a one night stay to have a nice relaxing time, would you say that was achieved by Souls? For a 4 star accomodation charging those prices things should be smooth and effortless for the guests. We left feeling more stressed than what we were on our arrival.
