The apartment was dirty, the vents full of dust to the point of the dust clinging to the ceilings, I told reception staff and they said they will send a cleaner the next day but nothing happened, dirty bathroom, mould on the ceilings, there was even a bucket under the laundry sink to catch the water from the leaking pipes that I had to empty in the middle of the night, if you want a relaxing holiday don't stay here, there's a nightclub across the Rd that seems to go everyday until the early hours even during the week, on the plus side the air-con worked well and the bed was comfortable and dishwasher was handy, staff were friendly.

This is a well maintained serviced apartment complex in the middle of all of Surfers activities, shopping, dining, entertainment, etc. If you're looking for a peaceful quiet holiday in a secluded spot this isn't for you. The units are privately owned so they are furnished differently. If you book a normal unit it will be un-renovated. If you book an "executive" unit it will be renovated and probably much nicer. The unit size is adequate but hot huge. The area pool is sunny. The front desk is staffed by exceptionally nice people. I booked for 4 days and will stay here again in the new year.

Well located but room was disappointing

Stayed many times without a problem, however this trip was very disappointing. The room was dirty, bathroom mouldy, floor dirty, lounge ripped and window taped up on one side. It was not the experience we were use to and had us wondering if all the rooms are now this bad. Best thing is the location and the pool.

I recently stayed at the Freebreak Cosmopolitan, and my experience was disappointing. The room had broken furniture, and the air conditioning didn’t work, making the stay quite uncomfortable. I contacted the front desk, and although they assured me that maintenance would come by, no one ever showed up to address the issues. The hotel would benefit from better upkeep and responsiveness. Until these issues are resolved, I would not recommend staying here.
