Dear Brenda, Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I am very sorry to hear that your experience at Peppers Beacon was not as expected. Please allow me to extend my sincerest apologies. I can see that you were booked into our hotel room type. Please note that these are our smallest room types and are only sold as limited or partial lake view. I would like to share that we have other room types available which are much bigger and offer spectacular views of the lake such as the 2 bedroom Lake View apartment. We would encourage you to book this room type if we are lucky enough to welcome you back. Please note we are taking your feedback very seriously and are addressing your concerns with the relevant departments. We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the excellent location — being within flat walking distance to central Queenstown is certainly a highlight — and that you appreciated the beautiful views from your room and the daily servicing. We also appreciate your detailed feedback regarding the room layout and some of the issues you encountered. We're sorry to hear about the maintenance problems and will ensure these are addressed. Your comments regarding the lighting from the internal hallway and the bedroom door design are also noted — we understand how this could be challenging, especially for families with young children or guests travelling with friends.
