Worn out room and dreadfully sad hallways.

Dear Barbara, Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at the Novotel Queenstown Lakeside. I am sorry that you found some aspects of your stay unsatisfactory. While we accept that the hotel is ageing (as with any building) the team continue to give their best efforts in maintaining and caring for our hotel and guest rooms to ensure all is kept to an acceptable standard. I'm sorry that on this occasion your experience didn't match your expectations. We are in talks with owners currently around works to enhance the look and feel of the rooms, as well as aesthetics of the public spaces and food and beverage outlets. This is something that we are hoping to get across the line in the coming months. We hope to welcome you back to the Novotel Lakeside in the near future. The check in with Vanessa was fantastic she was efficient friendly and very welcoming. The valet car service was so good after a long journey. Breakfast was again helpful and friendly staff.

Booked for 4 nights for 3 people. Most items we received such as towels, warm shoes for 2 pple. Hand basin was blocked, very dusty. Bin in the bathroom had no plastic bag when serviced. Soap dispensers were not replaced. Staff at elements foe breakfast said barista coffees r included in our breakfast. Staff received our order but forgot to make our beverages. Had to go n remind them. Beverage came late and cold. While, checking out was asked to pay for the beverages.. very poor service.
