Room - 511 - Internet keeps dropping off and the senses was always blocked by the shower door, so it kept turning off Room 505 - the key was vert hard to open the door so when it rained the few days, I kept getting wet (as there was no undercover)

Dear Vivian, Thank you for taking time to share your feedback and thank you for bringing these matters to our attention. We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay. Regarding Room 511, we’re sorry to hear about the unstable internet connection and the issue with the sensor being obstructed by the shower door. This is certainly frustrating, and we appreciate you highlighting it so our maintenance team can investigate and correct the setup. For Room 505, we regret the difficulty you encountered with the door lock, especially during rainy conditions. We understand how uncomfortable it must have been to be exposed to the weather, and we will be addressing both the door mechanism and reviewing shelter options to improve guest access. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us, as it helps us identify areas that require immediate attention. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused, and we hope you will consider staying with us again so we may provide you with a more seamless and comfortable experience. Kind Regards, Peppers Beacon Team

Overall a comfortable stay with short distance to town center. Unfortunately balcony was under renovation and scaffolding removed on 3rd day of my 5 days stay. The noise from next unit was loud due to probably thin wall which can be improved.

Dear Julius L., Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay. We are pleased that you found the location convenient and your overall experience satisfactory. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the balcony renovations and the noise from adjacent units. Your comments are appreciated as they help us improve. Best regards, Peppers Beacon Queenstown

We were extremely disappointed with the stay due to the scaffolding blocking our view / the verandahs being unusable due to flooding and work debris all over them and the noise of the workers was terrible. It was impossible to sit and relax and read a book. We also had an incident with a cut foot that required stitches due to a WHS issue of having a metal leg cabinet in a disabled bathroom where the water comes out into the floor creating a problem. Although some staff were very helpful others were quite rude about this situation insisting it was a travel insurance problem which upon getting advice e it definitely is not.

Dear Karen Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on your stay at Peppers Beacon Queenstown. We are genuinely sorry to hear that your stay did not meet expectations and that your experience was impacted in several ways. We sincerely apologies for the disruption caused by the scaffolding, noise, and the condition of the verandahs during your stay. We understand how important it is for guests to be able to relax and enjoy their surroundings, and we regret that the maintenance works interfered with this. While essential works were underway, we acknowledge that the impact on your comfort was unacceptable. We are also very concerned to hear about the injury you sustained. Your safety is of utmost importance to us, and we regret the distress this incident caused. This matter has been escalated internally and is being reviewed thoroughly as part of our workplace health and safety processes. We also apologies that your concerns were not handled consistently by all staff members; this is not the level of care or professionalism we aim to provide. Your feedback has been shared with our management team to ensure improvements are made, both in communication with guests and in preventing similar issues in the future. We truly appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention and are sorry that your stay was not the positive experience we strive to deliver. Kind Regard, Peppers Beacon Team

Michael B. Families - Confirmed reviews ALL

Upon checking in we encountered our first major problem…..not a good sign. We had booked 3 apartments all the same with 2 bedrooms with 1 king bed and 2 singles, easy right? I had already emailed from Australia back and forth several times confirming our bookings and every time they got it wrong….so when checking in they had it wrong again! Not happy at all as we were celebrated a huge birthday and took the entire family there. One apartment didn’t have a view at all and offered a double bed configuration…..reception girls were different every time so very frustrating having to explain the same thing to everyone there, they couldn’t change and one apartment suffered this inconvenience the entire 6 days. Then we had another major issue involving jewellery disappearing but fortunately they appeared miraculously and the manager in charge was very good dealing with it. The dryer in my son’s apartment never worked, my keys never worked after numerous swaps. I would ask that they put a blockout blind in massive sky light in living so light doesn’t enter master bedroom. Microwave is shocking, noisy dishwasher and the clothes washer is rough. The positives were the apartments were spacious, comfortable, beds very good, they were quiet, the balcony large but furniture had broken chairs so couldn’t use. Top floors had beautiful views. Heated bathroom floor was nice too! The hotel is undergoing renovations and this very visible noisy and inconvenient at times as we couldn’t go out via reception. Lifts were good. We will not be going back there again. Too many things went wrong, staff inexperienced and too many different girls all the time. They charge $30 a night for car park!!!!

Dear Michael B., Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay at Peppers Beacon Queenstown. I sincerely apologize for the challenges you encountered, particularly with your apartment configurations and the inconsistencies in service during check-in. We understand the importance of ensuring that special occasions, such as significant birthdays, are celebrated without distractions, and it is disheartening to learn that we fell short in this regard. I appreciate your acknowledgment of the spaciousness and comfort of our apartments, as well as the positive aspects such as the heated bathroom floors and beautiful views. However, I regret that the issues with the appliances and the noise from our renovations impacted your experience. Please know that your comments regarding the staff's training and the condition of the furniture have been noted for future improvement. We value your input as it helps us enhance our services for all guests. Thank you once again for your feedback. Goodbye and best wishes, Peppers Beacon Queenstown
