Have stayed in an apartment before which was good. Stayed in hotel room this time and disappointed with room. Only 1 chair to sit on. No desk had to get this horrible plastic fold up one, the tv unit which was the only bureau took up the whole stand so nowhere to leave anything out. Had to put kettle in bathroom. Had nothing in cupboard just 2 small glasses and 2 coffee cups and 2 teaspoons, tea & coffee sachets. Bed was nice and very comfy. Bathroom was ok plenty of light and storage but old and tired. Balcony was tiny and could hardly get past small coffee table & chair. Lots of paint chips, stains on carpet and walls. No cleaning service for a 7. Night stay which is ridiculous. Had to buy cleaning products annd do it myself. Only supplied toiletries, no sponge and 1 old tea towel. Swapped towels at reception 3 times and were given crappy old pool towels as no white ones available. Reception staff were nice enough. Were doing renovations on floor below so started banging with hammer at 7am which was annoying. Lifts were terrible and everyone was complaining about how slow they were. The digital floor number screens were broken on all lifts which was annoying. Overall pretty disappointing for a Mantra Hotel.

Had a lovely time in our single bedroom very clean and beds were very comfy. Though would have like sheets and towels changed as we stayed for 7 nights and a laundry service but that’s the only down side we had view of the bay close to everything. Walking distance to the port and lots of restaurants. Next time we will get a self contained room and two bedrooms just to have more room Very enjoyable.

Very good staff, enjoyed my stay.

Good tidy comfy hotel close to the beach. Parking is tight but some on street parking is available out of hours. Our room had a bit of a view of the beach, close to amenities. Very good staff, didn't get a chance to try the pool or the gym this time. Would go again.

bathroom extractor fan not working, and couldn’t be fixed; no housekeeping for a 7 night stay!!!; marked smell of mould in the room; no restaurant facilities onsite; inadequate number or parking spaces; on the plus side, the staff were all fantastic and friendly, the location was great and the room had obviously been recently refurbished. Maybe, at least half-weekly housekeeping to pick up wet towels, and a working extractor fan would keep the mouldy smell to a minimum; All things considered, I think we will try another hotel next time.

We loved our apartment, views were beautiful, reception staff were outstanding. Very central to everything. Would recommend it to my friends and family. And the gym was well equipped. We enjoyed the pool on the last day as the weather got warmer
