Great hotel with a fantastic location. The hotel has a fantastic pool on the 4th floor with lots of sunbeds and lounges too. All day sun and shade is available too. The king size room was so spacious the toilet has its own room and room facilities were great! Coffee pods to make your own coffee to enjoy on the balcony. Breakfast is Ala carte in the restaurant and there’s also restaurants in the casino which is adjacent to the hotel. The staff were all lovely especially Catriona who went the extra mile to check on me to see if everything is all okay…

I just love this great hotel. They go out of the way to make you happy. My first room wasnt the best so they changed it the next day to my usual room which I love plus for our anniversary we got a beautiful bottle of champagne. We have stayed here the last 4 years and have loved it. In fact next year we will stay even longer. A big shout out to Matthew in concierge, he takes so much proud to be part of this great hotel.

My wife and I stayed here at the Pulman Reef hotel last week for 6 days and loved every minute of it. It was our 52nd wedding anniversary where we where made to feel so welcome , Michael on the reception was so obliging, we asked for a room over the pool and when one came available he organised for us move into it . Also Mathew the concierge, you could ask him just about anything regarding Cains or the hotel he was so helpful . The only thing took a bit of getting used to was the breakfast we would have preferred a Al-cart menu not a fixed menu , but later we found out on we where able to ask for different things that weren't on the menu and they where able to get then for you. We also found out you had to ask for a HOT coffee or it came just warm but you have to ask none of the breakfast staff told you . Otherwis the meals were lovely. After saying that we would like to thank all the staff Michael and Mathew especially whom we had most dealings with and thank them all very much . We had a great time and will be back again all being well. Mike and Trish New Zealand

The staff are always pleasant, friendly and professional. They will always help. The Hotel is tired and the rooms are tired too. There is a Nespresso in the room - big bonus for that coffee! The rooms could do with some refurbishing. The bathroom has separate shower and bath - best thing!

I have just returned to Cairns on my annual trip and am staying again at the Pullman Reef hotel. This hotel was excellent last year and has improved even more this year. The hotel itself is great and the service from all staff is excellent. From the concierge greeting us on arrival, the reception staff providing quick and friendly check in, the room attendants providing an immaculate room and the restaurant staff offering impeccable service all of which would indicate that the staff training and management of all services was performed at an extremely high level. We started each day with breakfast at the Merchant Cafe where Gabby greeted us with her infectious smile and provided exceptional service and food. The management should be congratulated on what they have achieved with this hotel and the level of professionalism of the staff.
